But Adit, calling Lipika his favorite sister, agrees to buy it, blaming work stress for forgetting. After he leaves, Mangal tells Lipika to go. An emotional Lipika hugs her and tearfully admits she hasn’t been a great sister but loves her dearly and will try to do better. Mangal comforts her, assuring her that she’ll always protect her.

Meanwhile, Soumya arrives to apologize to Mangal, but Kusum throws her out of the house. Lakshmi remembers past events and cries. Karthik appears and shows her his mehndi-covered hands, which have “Laksh” and “Mi” written separately. They laugh over it, and Karthik tries to cheer her up, telling her that her actions were driven by concern for her sister. He encourages her to express her feelings. Gayatri enters and criticizes them for focusing on emotions rather than right and wrong.

Later, Kusum gathers the family, and Soumya reappears—shocking everyone. Mangal demands to know why she’s there again. Kusum explains that Soumya came to apologize and insists she do so sincerely. Soumya folds her hands and apologizes to Mangal for her past behavior. Mangal says it’s fine, but she no longer considers Soumya close enough to be hurt by her actions. However, Kusum insists that Soumya should stay and attend Mangal and Adit’s wedding. She wants no grudges in anyone’s heart and declares Soumya will witness their remarriage and blessings. Kusum secretly wants Soumya close so she can be watched.

Lakshmi questions Kusum’s decision to allow Soumya at the wedding, calling it a family affair. Mangal says she’ll confront Kusum herself. Shanti is also furious with Kusum, calling Soumya a snake.
