Mangal Lakshmi 2nd November 2024 Written Episode begins with Soumya turning off Adit’s laptop while he is working. Adit asks what she is doing, but Soumya dismisses his concern and tells him to deal with Mangal. She claims that Mangal is manipulating everyone and acting as though the house belongs to her. Adit says he also wants to get rid of Mangal but does not know how. Soumya tells him to clip Mangal’s wings and asks him to follow her plan.

Elsewhere, Karthik receives a new album contract and shares the news with Lakshmi. She is surprised but happy, reminding him that many had dropped him earlier, and now suddenly five albums have come his way. She worries about the speed of things but congratulates him. Karthik says he hopes they succeed together.

Mangal returns home after taking Akshar to the doctor. She informs Kusum that Akshar is getting better and only needs love and care from his family. Mangal then leaves to get medicines for Papa and Akshar.

Meanwhile, Karthik examines the contract papers and feels uneasy, thinking the record label seems to be rushing things. Lakshmi tells him not to doubt the deal, assuring him that the urgency may just be because of the festive season. She encourages him to sign, and he does so, though his pen initially does not work. She congratulates him with optimism for their future.

On the other side, Mangal buys medicines but faces difficulty as her card is declined. When she calls the bank, she learns that her account has been frozen by her husband. Shocked and humiliated, she manages to pay with loose change. On her way back, Mangal breaks down in tears, recalling the banker’s words. She feels as though she has lost everything except relationships. Just then, she sees a pamphlet advertising a cooking job. Wiping her tears, she resolves not to beg from anyone but to earn her own living.

At the label office, Karthik is introduced to the dancer who will perform with him. To his shock, it is Jiya. Both are stunned to see each other. The director asks if they know each other, but Karthik refuses to go ahead with the deal and leaves the papers behind.

Back home, Soumya brags to her friend over a call about how busy she and Adit are compared to her life in the US. Kusum interrupts, throwing Adit’s clothes at Soumya and asking her to wash them by hand since she is now his wife. Soumya refuses, saying she is not a maid. Kusum insists that being a daughter-in-law comes with responsibilities and that Adit prefers his clothes washed by hand. Soumya becomes frustrated but hands the clothes to Mangal, ordering her to wash them.

Mangal firmly refuses and tells Soumya to mind her language. She says the clothes belong to Adit, and since Soumya claims rights over him, she should handle his work. Soumya angrily mocks Mangal for wearing sindoor and a mangalsutra while refusing to call Adit her husband. She taunts Mangal for living in Adit’s house, wearing things bought with his money, and being dependent on him. Soumya calls her a burden, claiming that she herself can buy her own belongings, while Mangal only cooks with groceries purchased by Adit.

Mangal calmly replies that she has no desire to be like Soumya and no interest in Adit’s money. She reminds Soumya that she managed the household for 15 years, first as a wife and now as a woman who can stand on her own. She asserts her dignity and says that no one has the right to insult her.
