Ultimately, she is concerned for Adit and wonders how he plans to manage the situation now. Agitatedly, Adit explains that Lakshmi’s constant questioning had pushed him over the edge, and he blurted out the truth in anger. Somaiya then asks how they will handle it moving forward.
The papa says Kusum, open the door. You are angry, but let us talk to you. Mangal tries to break the door. Lakshmi arrives. She asks what happened. Mangal says Amma is inside. Kusum lies on the bed. Mangal says Amma, open your eyes. They pick her up. Papa says you scared us. Mangal hugs her and says why did you do it? Papa and I were scared. It is okay to punish me, but please do not do that.
