Shanti dismisses the milkman, declaring they will no longer reside in this low-cost neighbourhood. Meanwhile, Lakshmi tends to her garden and expresses her fondness for watering the plants. She longs for her previous home, where her parents put in a lot of hard work to make it a peaceful place. Indu asks if Lakshmi feels out of place here and if she is already homesick. Just then, Gayatri arrives and asks if there is an issue. Lakshmi reassures her everything is fine but acknowledges that she often misses her family. She explains that it’s natural for girls to hold onto their childhood home as it holds a special place in their hearts.
Gayatri calls Shanti. Two men enter, saying they came from the building control authority. They tell you this house can fall during moose season. You have to leave this house soon. We have to destroy this house. Shanti pretends that this is our house. We won’t let you kill it. Bhushan says our house is solid. Lakshmi tells Indu my parents made that house with so much love. The foundation isn’t solid, but it’s still firm.
According to Gayatri, the women are very emotional about their parents’ houses. Shanti says, “We won’t let you break our house.” The men say we have orders to break this house. Bhushan says, “I’ll go to court.” You have an hour to take out things, and then we’re going to break it.

Papa says he doesn’t care about her. She was scared of Adit when I asked her to be the judge. Kids are getting older as well. They have questions. I don’t know what to tell them. Kusum says all couples fight.

However, Kusum reassures her that Ruchika chose her because of her cooking talent, not her language abilities. She encourages Mangal to focus on her tasks and assures her that everything will turn out well. After some hesitation, Mangal agrees, and Kusum praises her determination and predicts success.
It is my brother’s house. Bhushan says, “I won’t let you break it.” The workers say they have a bulldozer ready. Bhushan says nothing illegal is going on. Shanti says Gayatri will arrange something for us. Bhushan asks, “How can you let this happen? Do you have no shame?” Shanti says we can’t die for your brother’s house. Bhushan asks why you have been living here so long.
Mangal mentions to Lakshmi that she’s feeling anxious. In response, Lakshmi advises her not to overthink and compliments her cooking skills. She then informs Mangal that she’ll be going to the home to decorate it, but Karthik has already taken care of purchasing all the necessary items. Karthik chimes in, noting that the house is unique to him and expressing his desire for others to understand Mangal’s sentimentality. After some discussion, Karthik decides he will handle the flowers, while Mangal suggests Lakshmi should go and tidy up the house as they can’t rely on Lipika and their mom. However, Mangal reassures Lakshmi that Karthik will accompany her and tells her to prepare for the competition while she prays for everything to go smoothly.
