Sumeet wonders who complained and saw Shagun being held by a female constable. Shlok tells Sumeet that it appears that Shagun has been arrested. Excitedly, Shagun approaches and hugs them.
Shagun commends Sumeet for his heroic efforts in retrieving her husband from Pakistan and expresses her appreciation to the inspector for apprehending the culprit. However, Shlok is unconvinced and reminds Shagun that her actions led him to Pakistan. In an attempt to clear her name, Shagun coerces a driver into giving false testimony and threatens harm to his family if he does not comply. Fearing for his loved ones, the driver takes full responsibility and is arrested. Sumeet consoles Shlok and advises him to depart from the situation.
Despite Shagun’s attempts to ridicule Sumeet, she replies firmly. Sumeet shares that their love grew stronger in Pakistan, and they plan to remarry. Raunak meets Shlok and attempts to provoke him by calling him weak. Raunak tries to provoke him, calling him “Tommy,” suggesting he hides behind his mother’s saree. She asks Shlok about the expensive gifts he gave Sumeet. Sumeet tells Shagun that Shlok is destined for greatness.
Raunak teases Shlok for marrying Sumeet again, implying that he didn’t give her any worthwhile gifts. However, Sumeet confidently states that Shlok is the greatest gift she could ever receive. He remembers Raunak’s comments about needing to provide proper amenities for Sumeet and her concerns about sending his audio to a music producer. However, Shlok reassures her that he will send the recording to the producer when they get home, encouraging her not to worry.
To destroy Sumeet’s pride, Shagun instructs Raunak to monitor Shlok and undermine his confidence. When Shlok pays the cab driver, he realizes his wallet contains no cash. The driver mocks him for being poor, which angers him as he recalls Raunak’s taunts. When Sumeet and Shlok enter the house, they discover the family members are divided into groom and bride teams.
According to Anju, Shlok and Sumeet should not meet frequently except during special rituals. While Sumeet wishes to accompany Shlok to his first music recording meeting, Shlok feels disheartened when he sees Sumeet choosing affordable flower jewelry over more expensive ones. To record a song, Shlok struggles with concentration, feeling that his lifestyle is causing Sumeet to compromise.
