Shagun informs Sumeet that if she fails to prove her marriage with Shlok within 21 days, she should acknowledge Raunak as her husband and turn to Shagun. Sumeet confidently declares that her marriage with Shlok has been blessed by God and even if she is unable to provide evidence, she will not accept Raunak as her spouse. She asserts that she will make her own choices in life and will not give in to any foolish demands. Poonam interjects and challenges Sumeet to validate her marriage within 21 days, or else she will wed Shlok and Bitti the next day.
Despite Sumeet’s pleading, Shlok remains firm in his decision that his mother’s choice is final. Raj encourages Sumeet to leave with him, but she insists on standing by Shlok’s side. As Raj attempts to lead her towards the door, Sumeet halts him and declares her determination to face this challenge alone and accept whatever outcome may come. Raj poses a question, asking her to choose between him or her own decision. Sumeet sobs as she pulls away from Raj’s grasp. This brings back memories of the promise Raj made to Meet, never intending to let go of Sumeet’s hand. The thought lingers with him still.
A continuous flame is lit by Sumeet at a temple. The fires symbolize the vows she made with Shlok on the altar, while the other fire symbolizes her determination to prove her marriage within 21 days. Sumeet is told that Raj is now responsible for her new relationship, but their old sibling relationship has ended. He walks away, taunting Sumeet for being abandoned by Raj and rejected by Shlok.
Shlok’s family members discuss Sumeet, and Poonam wonders what their expectations are. Vani watches a video of Raunak attempting suicide on her phone and becomes filled with panic. Abhay forcefully opens the door, while Shagun urges him to take action upon seeing Raunak lying there with an injured hand. When Shlok tries to wake Sumeet up for a bath, he finds her asleep and thinks she looks adorable. He gently wakes her up and reminds her to use the bathroom before the water runs out. Sumeet is also missing Raj but is determined not to speak to him after he ended their relationship.
While enjoying their time together, Shlok and Sumeet suddenly hear a mob throwing stones at Shlok’s house. Media reporters are quick to blame Sumeet for supposedly breaking Wonder Boy’s heart and leaving with Shlok. They continue to shout that Raunak is fighting for his life. Despite the chaos, Shlok attempts to calm down the angry crowd. Once the doctor departs, Shagun questions Raunak’s supposed illness and accuses Sumeet of having crazed supporters who convinced Vani to show him sympathy. Poonam reprimands Sumeet for causing trouble for Shlok. In an act of courage, Sumeet gets hit by a rock while shielding Shlok. Finally, she lights a lamp in front of the house, which effectively disperses the fervent crowd.
