The collector inquired about the meal’s origin, questioning if it was sourced from a high-end hotel. He warned Sumeet that offering extravagant food would not guarantee her a contract. Meanwhile, at Shlok’s house, moneylenders began pelting their home with stones in demand for the money they owed. Anju believed their trust in Sumeet had been a mistake, while Poonam pondered whether Sumeet had managed to secure the project. To clarify, Sumeet explained that the food did not come from an expensive hotel but from her canteen. She presented it in a different style. She then appealed to the collector for a chance to prove herself, reassuring him that she could successfully organize an event within a limited budget.
The moneylenders were determined to confiscate the family’s possessions and publicly shame Shlok’s family unless Sumeet could find a job within two hours. Sumeet explained to the collector that a lavish wedding is desired by all, regardless of wealth. She suggested joining forces to create a memorable community celebration. The moneylenders warned of painting the Chowdhury family as thieves on the walls, but Shlok stepped in before they could fulfill their threat. He assured them their circumstances would improve, and they would repay the debt.
Poonam pointed out that there was only one year remaining. Anju attempted to contact Sumeet without success. She advised Shlok not to overwhelm Sumeet with all the tasks. Poonam gave her gold bangles to Shlok and suggested he sell them to pay off the moneylenders. However, Shlok considered phoning Sakshi to inquire about a singing opportunity. At that moment, Sumeet arrived and shared the good news that she had already secured a job. Unfortunately, Anju was disappointed to learn it was for a community wedding and wouldn’t make much profit.
Sumeet attempted to convince Anju that this could lead to additional job opportunities, considering the event would receive media attention. However, Anju insisted on the need for money. Sumeet then turned to Shlok and questioned if he believed in her ambition or if it was too grandiose. While reflecting on Sakshi, who could potentially provide an opportunity, Shlok’s thoughts were interrupted by Poonam, who encouraged Sumeet’s ideas. In the meantime, Shagun updated Sakshi on Shlok’s failure to contact her and questioned whether they were not giving enough credit to Shlok and Sumeet.
She explained that Shagun and her mother were best friends. She was determined to fulfill her promise to Shagun and ruin Shlok and Sumeet. She was certain Shlok would turn to her for help. As part of the community wedding, Sumeet intended to allow Shlok to sing and even designed a surprise poster. Once everything was sorted out, Shlok planned to discuss Sakshi with Sumeet.
