Chithra informs Vaani that her package has come, and she is asked if she has placed any orders. Chithra remembers paying the delivery person to accept the food. Then Sulekha asks Vaani if she has placed an order for dinner. Vaani acknowledges that she did to provide the Guruji with wholesome food. Sulekha reprimands Vaani for forcing Mishri to prepare food when requested and for failing to come down to serve the Guruji. She claims that Vaani may not have been adequately raised and accuses her of lying and showing disrespect. Vaani is upset and furiously departs.
In the meantime, Mishri feeds the Guruji. Vaani accuses Mishri of lying about the meal and confronts her angrily. Mishri says she didn’t lie because she feared Sulekha’s wrath. Vaani contends that she constantly expresses her opinions and doesn’t conceal her feelings as Mishri does.
Vaani is interrupted by Sulekha, who demands that she respect the Guruji. Vaani responds that Sulekha prefers a perfect person like Mishri to a daughter-in-law. She chastises Sulekha’s attitude and maintains that she will not alter who she is for anyone. Offended, Sulekha wonders out loud how Raghav could have fallen for Vaani and keeps berating her. Everyone is shocked as Vaani smashes the meal plates out of fury. Feeling degraded, the Guruji departs. Mishri is then told to clean up by Sulekha, who also warns her not to assist Vaani in the future. Chithra observes and believes she will witness Raghav’s anguish if Vaani departs.
Refusing to go until Vaani does, Mishri begs him to eat through a locked door. When Ranjith tries to step in, Parvathi shows up. Vaani is still unhappy, Mishri explains. She is reassured by Parvathi, who mentions the Guruji’s blessings and gifts and suggests that they be used for good. When Mishri says she would like to enroll in a local school, Parvathi compliments her and gives her a phone number. Later, Vaani phones Raghav and angrily hangs up after venting her fury at Sulekha’s ignorance. Kalpana advises Raghav to establish a fresh life in Delhi. However, Raghav maintains that he cannot abandon his family, even though he will look for Vaani. Given that Raghav is already concealing things from Vaani, Kalpana becomes concerned.
Later, Mishri innocently asks if the jewelry Sulekha is hiding is for Vaani. Vaani hasn’t woken up yet, Sulekha says. After she shows up and tends to a distressed Mishri, Sulekha demands an apology from Vaani. Vaani refuses to accept Mishri’s apology, stating that she was not at fault and thus has nothing to answer for.

As Chithra provokes her, Sulekha accuses Mishri of stealing jewels. When Chithra discovers a tablet in Mishri’s bag, she claims that Mishri had to sell jewels to pay for it. Sulekha asks Chithra to phone the police.
