Vaani’s father allows Raghav to spend the night at their house but advises him not to see Vaani until the engagement. Once they depart, Mishri longs for his presence and hopes to catch a glimpse of him at the upcoming engagement. In class, Ritu approaches Mishri and introduces herself before inquiring about her homework. Mishri admits she hasn’t done it yet, to which Ritu reminds her that Raghav, who has been their teacher for three years, will be displeased if it remains incomplete.
Upon Raghav’s entrance, he is greeted by the others. He notices Mishri standing and requests for her to take a seat. When he inquires about her homework completion, she admits she has not completed it. This leads Raghav to become angry and dismiss Mishri from the class. A classmate encourages Mishri to explain herself, so she reads from her book. Raghav continued to scold her, questioning why she even bothered attending class when she was busy preparing for her sister’s wedding. Harshly, he tells her to focus on getting married and forget about pursuing a government job. He then forces her to write that she desires marriage and no longer wishes to pursue a career in government. Finally, he makes her stand on the bench while holding her notes, causing immense humiliation for Mishri.
As the class ends and the students file out, Mishri shoots a sharp look at Raghav, who returns it with equal intensity. He offers her his handkerchief, urging her to dry her tears. Despite his insistence, she declines and points out she cannot look down as she stands on a bench. Taking matters into his own hands, he gently wipes away her tears while Kalpana watches from the outside without catching a glimpse of Mishri’s face.
Kalpana feels something could be happening between Raghav and one of his students. She decides to video call Vaani to share what she’s witnessed. But Vaani, who has complete faith in Raghav, doesn’t pay much heed to Kalpana’s doubts. According to her, Raghav is a volunteer at the school and wouldn’t engage in any inappropriate behavior. However, Vaani cautions Kalpana that Raghav may feel hurt if he learns about her suspicions.
Despite Kalpana’s insistence that Raghav will one day betray Vaani, she abruptly ends the call. Still clutching the handkerchief, Raghav urges Mishri to keep it as a symbol of her tears, claiming he wants nothing from her. Mishri snaps back, pointing out that she has shed countless tears because of him, and the handkerchief is insufficient.
Despite his frustration, Raghav insists that she takes it. However, as she attempts to bite, the unexpected lack of balance causes her to fall into him. In the aftermath, a moment of discomfort ensues before she apologizes and clarifies the reason for her stumble. As Raghav turns to depart, Mishri follows suit, mentioning that her dupatta had gotten caught on his watch. He quickly untangles it for her before taking his leave.
Mishri decides to put everything behind her and concentrate on the engagement. As Vaani anxiously waits for her, Gopal takes matters into his own hands by causing Mishri to pass out and having her carried away by a hired driver. He is determined to prevent Mishri from ruining Raghav and Vaani’s joy, and he will do whatever it takes.
As Raghav arrives at the scene, Kalpana inquires about his companion. He recalls his wedding with Mishri and decides to move forward. Mentioning his eagerly awaited day, Raghav informs Kalpana that he is searching for Vaani. As Vaani finally arrives, he admires her stunning appearance. Meanwhile, Mishri awakens and senses Raghav’s presence.
