Saraswathi grasps Vedika’s hand, offering her unwavering support. This shocks Rajeshwari, who questions her about what she means. Digvijay echoes this sentiment and asks what Saraswathi hopes to gain. She responds by saying that it brings her inner peace and a sense of justice. Remarking on the repeated statement that it was destined to happen, she inquires if their mother is aware that this has been the common response since the accident. However, Vedika is relieved to hear someone finally tell her that it’s enough and reminds them how they even had to convince Hanuman Ji of his own strength. Inquiring further, Vedika asks if Saraswathi is speaking the truth.
Vedika extends her other hand, prompting Saraswathi to stand up with the assistance of both Koyal and Vedika. Despite nearly losing her balance, they support her once again. As they all share a smile, Saraswathi expresses her determination to not let these young ones carry any guilt. She pledges to join forces with Vedika in this battle. Koyal agrees and suggests that they uncover the true culprit behind the events of twenty years ago; a proposal that shocks Rajeshwari and Digvijay. In a touching gesture, Saraswathi kisses the hands of both Vedika and Koyal before they all leave the room together.
As Digvijay turns to Rajeshwari, who appears worried, Saraswathi walks down the stairs with both Vedika and Koyal. She can’t help but think of her daughters as Rajeshwari points out that Vedika is a spitting image of her. Signaling for Saraswathi to not be concerned, Vedika once again grasps her hand tightly as they approach the Inspector. Sagar joins them and stands by her side. The Inspector then asks if she is certain about reopening the case concerning the death of her first husband, Gautham.
Upon opening the file, Inspector instructed Saraswathi to sign on it. Vedika noticed Rajeshwari and Digvijay glaring at her with fury. Despite this, Saraswathi began praying to GhatuSham Ji and Vedika reminded everyone that their efforts and sacrifices, including Dayal Ji’s, would not be in vain. Suphedra suggested that Saraswathi rest, but she pulled her along while Koyal followed them. As Sagar approached Vedika, she apologized for not consulting her first before taking action, but he hugged her tightly nonetheless.
Rajeshwari informs Digvijay that the situation is not progressing as desired. Sagar expresses confusion about Vedika’s actions towards his aunt, noting her unwavering confidence and resemblance to his previous admiration. As he attempts to disentangle her hair from his wristwatch, Vedika gazes at him intently, prompting him to notice her attention. With a smile, she fixes her hair and Sagar comments on Miss Sharma’s lack of explanation for her intentions.

As Vedika is about to start her scooter, Rajeshwari appears and takes the keys. Confused by her sudden arrival, Vedika questions what she thinks of her. Rajeshwari then enters the house without being invited. Vedika asks for clarification, mentioning that she is currently working on a case for Saraswathi while also being employed by her grandson. She questions if Rajeshwari sees her as a daughter, to which Rajeshwari confirms she does. Despite this, Vedika wonders why Rajeshwari is upset over Saraswathi wanting to uncover the truth about her first husband’s death. In response, Rajeshwari explains that she doesn’t want to see Saraswathi emotionally devastated since she won’t be able to help her this time around.
Vedika assures Rajeshwari mam not to worry, as she, Koyal, and Sagar are all by her side. However, Rajeshwari challenges her, stating that she will not win. Vedika responds by reminding her that she shouldn’t make assumptions before the battle even begins. She explains that just one small strike could destroy the entire forest. As Rajeshwari walks away, Vedika mentions that the key won’t be of use to her. Ignoring her warning, Rajeshwari throws the key and heads back to the Maheshwari mansion. Seeing this, Vedika quickly pulls out her phone and plays a ringtone to give the impression that she is making a call.
As Vedika tells Sagar not to worry about it all, since she has the best proof to reopen the case, she explains that she has saved it on a pen drive, which would not be safe to keep in their house, so Vedika has kept it in S3’s office. Vedika then leaves as she gets on her scooter while Rajeshwari is still listening to her. Vedika believes Rajeshwari is the principal of the school, but the syllabus has changed.
As Sagar walks, thinking about Vedika, he bumps into Koyal, who says she just came to see Saraswathi mam, and is leaving. Sagar thanks her before walking away, and Koyal wonders if he is healthy since he thanked her.
As soon as Rajeshwari calls Krishan, he serves the tea, but Koyal takes it from the tray since she felt like having it, Koyal says Sagar talked politely with her when he is always arrogant and turns back, Rajeshwari asks what she needs, and Koyal asks for a biscuit, but leaves after noticing Rajeshwari is furious, wondering if she is thinking the right thing considering Pandit Ji’s words that the daughters of Saraswathi would surely meet her again, wondering if she is making a mistake.
Under the cover of night, an intruder sneaks into the S3 office. After rummaging through the drawers, she locates the pen drive. Rajeshwari exclaims that whoever is capable of deception cannot possibly be alive. Vedika chimes in from behind, stating it is a case of overconfidence. This stuns Rajeshwari, who questions Vedika about her cryptic words. Vedika responds by urging Rajeshwari to reveal what has been causing her restlessness since the passing of Dayal Ji. She points out that Rajeshwari did not send Himati, Kamal or even her own son Digvijay, so what could have compelled her to come herself?
As Rajeshwari replies, she worries about Saraswathi and doesn’t know when Vedika will file the case, so she wants to make sure it happens as soon as possible. Despite Vedika’s doubts, Rajeshwari replies she doesn’t care what Vedika thinks. She replies that Rajeshwari should know that this pen drive is empty, and Rajeshwari is shocked.
