Mandira requests Shiv’s signature on the papers, while Nandu waits for Shakti. Taking note of the time, Shiv realizes he must sign now. However, just as he is about to do so, Shakti arrives and interrupts him. Everyone is taken aback by her sudden appearance. Mandira appears puzzled by Shakti’s presence. Shiv notices a bruise on Shakti’s forehead and offers to clean it for her. She reassures him that she is fine and he expresses his confidence in her arrival. Their gaze lingers as Shakti reveals she has found evidence to clear his name, putting an end to his resignation plans. She boldly declares that she will not allow him to leave.
How dare you come here? He scolds the guard and says I don’t want you near Shiv, but how dare you hold his hand in front of everyone, you are so shameless. Shiv says at least listen to him. Ragunath says she cannot interfere in hospital matters. Shakti tells Shiv that she can hear all bitter comments, but she won’t let him resign as he is the soul of that hospital. Mandira is angry that Shakti spoiled her plans. Keertan glares at Shakti, saying I won’t spare her.
Mandira informs Shakti that, unfortunately, Shiv must be replaced despite no one wanting it. This decision is due to your actions. The board has requested Shiv’s resignation. Shakti questions if decisions can be reversed. In response, a board member mentions the couple’s lingering stares and hand-holding, causing the guests to make jokes about their relationship. Ragunath feels embarrassed by the comments. The board member clarifies that Shiv is free to live his personal life as he chooses, but as a trustee of the hospital, trust and reputation are vital and must be prioritized. As the conversation continues, a guest inquires about the identity of “this girl,” with another jumping in to call her a gold digger who received a scholarship from Shiv.
The guest claims Shiv is wealthy, insinuating that she must have manipulated him. A board member suggests revoking her scholarship. The other girls admire her. Shiv demands to know which girl they are talking about. Girls like her empower others to fight for their rights and surpass boys. They make their parents proud and challenge narrow-mindedness like yours. He approaches Shakti and grips her hand, stating that girls like her save lives and ensure justice prevails. Ragunath reminds him of the same girl who caused their family’s disgrace and his imprisonment. Shiv disagrees, insisting that it was not her fault. Shakti urges him to remain calm, trusting that God is on their side. She assures Ragunath that she did not come to cause a scene, but rather to defend Shiv’s innocence and prevent an unjust punishment from being dealt out against him. She stands in solidarity with him and will do everything in her power to prove his innocence.
Ragunath cannot go on her side, Mandira says. We have to throw this girl out as Shiv might get a panic attack and the board people are getting frustrated as well. We can’t let Shiv have an attack in front of all. Throw her out for our family’s honor. Ragunath says if she wants to prove something, then give her a chance. If Shiv’s innocence is proved, then he would not have to resign. Do you also want Shiv to be resigned? Mandira says yes.
Ragunath grants Shakti a single opportunity to demonstrate her innocence and integrity. Shiv displays a smile, ready to embrace Ragunath, but is halted as he adds that if they are able to prove their innocence, Shiv will not have to step down from his position and Shakti’s scholarship will not be revoked. Gratefully, Shakti accepts the chance and affirms that she will show that both she and Shiv are blameless. She explains how they were ensnared – their story was released, followed by Shiv’s imprisonment – all orchestrated by someone present in the room. With a piercing stare at Mandira, she asserts that this individual is responsible for their predicament. The others watch with interest.
