He asks Ragunath to find Shiv at any cost for his father. Ragunath calls him, but he doesn’t respond. Nandu says he knows where he might be. Raghunath says to bring him back. Padma goes with Nandu. Dadi prays for Shiv. As Nandu leaves, Padma says you always get into trouble because of Shiv. Go back in the house. He says Shiv is more than my brother, and he is someone I will protect no matter what. He leaves. Padma prays for his safety.
When Manorama returns home, he finds Shakti crying alone. Shakti asks, why did you go to Shiv’s house to propose? Manorama says he is the best guy for you. Shakti says I can’t marry him. Rimjhim comes there and says you have to do this marriage, this isn’t just about you, this is about me too. Shakti says no. Manorama tells them to stop fighting.
Chacha inquires about the situation, and Manorama reveals that she has finalized the marriage proposal. Keertan and Rimjhim will be getting married, as will Shiv and Shakti. However, Shakti objects and explains that while he knows Shiv is a good person, he cannot go through with the marriage. Manorama warns that if Shakti refuses to marry Shiv, Rimjhim’s marriage to Keertan will not happen either. Shakti questions if Mandira was the one who told Manorama this information. Memories of Mandira telling her that Shakti would be an ideal match for Shiv flood Manorama’s mind before the flashback ends.
Manorama assures Shakti that she made the decision she felt was best, and I have no doubt that you will find happiness with Shiv. However, Shakti doubts it, stating that he does not love her and, therefore, cannot be happy with her. Manorama questions how she can be sure of his feelings, to which Shakti responds that he explicitly told her so. Shakti concludes that a relationship without love is meaningless and only becomes a burden for both parties, so she cannot marry Shiv. Rimjhim interjects, insisting that Shakti must go through with the marriage, but Shakti firmly refuses. She worries that they could easily break it off if they are already making demands at this stage. With that, she storms out of the room while Rimjhim continues shouting at her to fulfill this marriage obligation.
It’s time to stop blaming her, Chacha says. Rimjhim says it sometimes feels like you take her side more than me, so I’ll fight for myself. I’ll make sure Shiv and Shakti marry if it’s what makes me marry Keertan. It occurs to Mandira that Shakti does love Shiv, so why doesn’t she want to marry him? Guruji comes to Mandira and tells her she does, but she is worried. Mandira says I need to play a game to get them married. Guruji says that’s why I’m here.
Gayatri prays for Shiv and Shakti. Ragunath comes there and prays, too. He grabs her hand and tells her to pray for herself. He says I won’t spare you if Shiv and Shakti don’t get married. He breaks her arm and says that you are solely responsible for Shiv’s condition. I will only fill your life with sadness and pain if Shiv doesn’t receive this happiness.
Sitting alone, Shiv ponders Shakti’s heartfelt confession of her love for him. Suddenly, Nandu arrives and inquires about his well-being. He questions why Shiv is hesitant to marry Shakti. In response, Shiv admits that he does not reciprocate her feelings. Nandu reminds him that Shakti holds a special place in his life—someone who earned his trust and helped bridge the gap with his mother after years of estrangement. Is their bond more than just friendship? Shiv remains silent, lost in thought.
