Mandira informs Shakti that she’s shielding her husband, who is a killer. Trying to intervene won’t be of any use. In response, Shakti declares that she’ll defend Shiv regardless and ensures that Mandira will face imprisonment soon. Whatever Shiv couldn’t accomplish, I’ll take care of it. With that, she exits, leaving Mandira intimidated.
Manorama expresses her concern to Chacha about Shakti and suggests they visit her. Moments later, Shakti phones them, and Manorama puts the call on speaker. Shakti tearfully reveals that Gayatri has passed away, and the news takes everyone aback. After explaining what happened, Shakti discloses that Mandira was responsible for Gayatri’s death, and Shiv has been wrongly accused. Shakti is determined to protect Shiv and knows his whereabouts. Manorama offers her home as a haven for Shiv, assuring him that she promised Gayatri to care for him as his new mother. With resolve, Shakti ends the conversation.
Upon arriving at Shiv’s house, the inspector inquires about the deactivated CCTV outside. Shakti is questioned and claims to be unaware of who shut it down. She then remembers that she was the one who disabled it. While examining the car, Shakti notices a blood stain and becomes anxious. The inspector suggests searching the house for Shiv, as he was present during the time of the murder. Mandira defends his innocence and questions why he would harm his mother.
Shakti is wiping down the car trunk when the inspector inquires about her actions. She responds with a simple “nothing,” and they all enter the house. As she remembers how she had secretly transported Shiv out of the house and stowed him in the trunk, Shakti vows to fulfill her promise of bringing justice to his mother. Once the flashback concludes, Rimjhim appears and questions Shakti’s presence there. Shakti explains that she is mourning for Gayatri, wondering if such an act is considered a wrongdoing. Rimjhim then walks away.
Manorama and Chacha have darkened their windows in anticipation of Shiv’s arrival. However, when the police searched the house, they could not locate him. In desperation, Dadi implores Nandu to take action and track down Shiv. Nandu reassures her that Shakti will keep Shiv safe, so there is no need to worry.
Rimjhim informs Mandira that Shakti appeared to be acting suspiciously near a car. The latter responds by saying she will go investigate. Upon reaching Shakti, Mandira compliments his intelligence in hiding Shiv in their home undetected. She then attempts to open the trunk, but Shakti prevents her.
