The episode opens with Payal and Krish arriving to perform the puja. The lady inquires of Indu about who her daughter-in-law is. Indu responds by questioning the guests if they have come simply to gossip. She then instructs Krish to begin the puja. As the ladies converse, one of them places a bet on who will sit beside Krish for the ceremony. The pandit requests that the married couple take their seats for the puja. To everyone’s surprise, Payal sits down first, followed by Krish next to her. One of the ladies declares herself as the winner since “biwi no. 2” has sat beside him. However, Bindiya arrives at the puja area and takes a seat next to Krish, leaving him and Payal shocked. With an angry expression, Krish demands that Bindiya stand up. The pandit praises him for his actions and explains that during a puja ceremony, it is customary for a wife to sit on her husband’s right side. Bindiya introduces herself as Pallu and claims to be Krish’s wife. Another lady interjects, stating that since Bindiya has taken part in the puja, she has won their previous bet.
Krish beckons her to rise, assuring her of his actions as he rises to meet Baldev. Vikram joins them with Baldev in tow. Krish inquires about Baldev’s presence. Baldev explains that he couldn’t keep his promise and expresses his desire to attend the Ganapati puja, despite feeling stifled in his room. He requests Krish to join the puja and leaves him to it. Krish dutifully takes part in the ceremony while Pandit ji instructs Payal to remain seated behind as it is considered inauspicious for three people to participate. Payal glances at Krish before leaving, disappointed and resentful. In response, a fiery Krish looks towards Bindiya, who announces Biwi no. 1’s triumph. Pandit ji then tasks Bindiya and Krish with tying the ghatbandhan. With cloth draped over his neck, Krish stands tall while Bindiya adorns it with her pallu. Baldev watches with delight as Indu remarks on his long-cherished wish finally coming true; he commends Krish for honoring his wishes by joining the puja.
Sakshi explains that if Vikram had been asked earlier, he would have participated in the puja. However, Vikram then points out to Sakshi that she seems uninterested in the puja and is instead complaining to their father. In response, Sakshi defends her actions by saying that all is fair in love and war. Meanwhile, the pandit instructs Bindiya and Krish to hold a coconut in their hands. Baldev prays for God’s blessings and requests that Bindiya and Krishna always remain together. He also asks for protection from any sorrows or difficulties for his family. While Payal walks away angrily, Krish and Bindiya place the kalash in front of Bappa. As Payal exits Baldev’s room, she notices medication strips on the floor.
Pandit ji instructs them to light the diya, which Krish does with evident anger. Payal then goes inside and retrieves a medicine strip, questioning why it had fallen. Next, Pandit ji suggests they do darshan of Ganapati ji, prompting Krish and Bindiya to lift the cloth and take a look at him. In unison, they all exclaim “Ganapati Bappa moriya.” Moving on with the puja, Bindiya personally adorns Bappa with a garland. Meanwhile, Payal examines his medical file and discovers that he is prescribed heart attack medicine as well as multi vitamins. She muses that Buddha takes multi vitamins too and makes a mental note to bring fruits for the puja that Bindiya conducted. Anticipating her imminent return, Payal mentions that Bindiya will be emerging shortly.
A panit ji asks Bindiya and Krish to apply tilak to each other. In response to Krish’s unwillingness, she then applies tilak to Krish. While doing aarti, Krish wonders where Payal went. Pandit ji asks them to offer aarti to everyone. As they are doing aarti, they touch Indu and Baldev’s feet. Baldev blesses her. They offer aarti to everyone else. When Krish thinks where Payal is, her thread gets caught in his kurta.
In response to Payal’s return, Pandit ji says it’s an auspicious sign and asks them to think that Bappa himself has performed the ghatbandhan. Baldev smiles. Krish tries to untighten his kurta. Pandit ji tells them not to make this mistake and to accept blessings from God as a couple. As Krish and Bindiya bow down in front of Bappa, Payal says, “Take the last blessing, I will send you so far that you won’t be able to return after seven births.”
