The episode begins with Vedant telling Koel that he needs to talk to her. Koel lightens the moment by saying her son doesn’t believe in dowry. Indu secretly hopes that Vedant will back out so she can stop Shlok’s marriage to Naina. Meanwhile, Dhwani is confident that Vedant won’t marry Swara after the “love lessons” she taught him.

To everyone’s shock, Vedant tells Koel that he can’t marry Swara as he is in love with someone else. Swara quietly walks away, hurt, with Shlok following behind. Vedant further explains to Koel that a life with Swara would bring silence, not happiness. Koel emotionally manipulates him by reminding him of Naina’s hardships and pleads for Swara’s sake. Vedant walks away conflicted.

Later, Vedant brings Swara back in front of everyone. Dhwani, sure that Vedant will call off the wedding, prepares herself to witness the shock on the Shukla family’s faces. But in a major twist, Vedant tells Shlok that he won’t let their father’s word go to waste and agrees to the marriage, expecting Shlok to take care of his sister Naina in return.

Shlok emotionally hugs Vedant and promises to keep Swara happy. Indu tries to stir doubt by accusing the family of setting up an “exchange marriage.” Dhwani seizes the opportunity to plant seeds of doubt in Swara’s mind, claiming that Vedant is marrying her only because of Naina. However, Vedant confidently states that he is marrying Swara of his own free will. Though he doesn’t love her yet, he trusts his father’s decision and believes love will grow with time.

Koel happily wards off evil eye from Swara and gives her money to buy something for herself. Meanwhile, a furious Dhwani storms into the kitchen and gets into a heated confrontation with Koel. Koel smears soot from the kadai on Dhwani’s face, humiliating her. Dhwani vows revenge and plans to ruin the wedding.

Later, the family begins preparing for Vedant and Swara’s engagement. Everyone showers love and blessings on Swara, appreciating her for her grace and humility. Koel announces the engagement will take place at Sharma Nivas in two days, and Baldev’s family is invited.

However, Dhwani remains determined to sabotage the engagement. As Vedant is drinking water, he chokes at the sight of Dhwani, who looks on with fiery determination.
