The episode begins with Suman questioning Khajrana Ganesh about the curse she received from her father and in-laws. Meanwhile, Kritika rushes onto the road and approaches the bridge railing. Teerth and Devika both urge her to come down, but she retorts by reminding them they are all celebrating their sister-in-law’s arrival. Despite Teerth’s pleas, Kritika remains adamant about not listening.
Kritika is asking for the return of her sindoor and mangalsutra, which Aunt Kachra wore without her permission. Devika assures her that she will fix everything as promised. Kritika insists that she will not stop until death. Teerth urges her to remain calm and listen, but Kritika slips and falls. In a panic, Devika yells for help, and Teerth rushes to save her.
Bhumi approaches Rishi and inquires about his well-being, to which he responds by mentioning that he did not intend to harm himself. However, before the conversation can continue, Hema and Malini join them. Rishi quickly urges them to keep quiet about the situation. Hema takes the opportunity to ask about Rishi’s condition, while Rishi inquires about Suman and expresses concern due to the dislike she faces from everyone. In response, Malini assured him that Teerth would resolve everything. Rishi then expresses his desire to speak with Suman, who eventually answers his call and declares that he cannot find peace without her.
Malini inquires about your safe arrival. Hema follows up by asking if the grah pravesh took place and if you received blessings from your in-laws. Suman remembers their words of disapproval. She reassures them that the grah pravesh was successful and has been welcomed with love and blessings, adding that she is doing well. Rishi then notices something off in her tone and asks what’s wrong. Suman replies that she has found a new family who has become her parents, brother, sister, etc.… to which Rishi affectionately calls her Sumi.
Suman inquires about your well-being, and Rishi accuses you of being deceived. In response, Suman denies being a liar like Rishi. Meanwhile, Hema wonders about your whereabouts, and Suman reveals that she is in her room. Hema requests to speak with Teerth and asks Suman to pass the phone. Teerth then reassures Kritika that she will be safe if she holds his hand while Kritika gazes at the valley below. Devika arrives and advises Kritika not to look down. Together, Teerth and Devika help Kritika back up to safety.
Suman informs them that Teerth is currently in another room, as it is traditional for newlyweds not to stay together on their first night, especially on Kalratri. Rishi inquires if everyone welcomed Teerth. Suman reveals that some were upset, but Teerth managed to ease them. Hema then asks if they have eaten yet, to which Suman confirms and adds that Sasumaa even fed her by hand. She becomes emotional and tears up. Rishi expresses his desire to video call with her.
Suman stands in the corner and answers the call. Rishi reminds her that she mentioned being in the room. She explained that she stepped out due to a poor signal. Rishi requests to speak to someone at her location. Suman spots Akhil and puts Rishi on hold. She requests Akhil to talk to her family, as she cannot disclose what transpired here.
Akhil agrees and casually tosses the phone onto the ground. He recalls something in Sarafa bazaar and instructs her to do sit-ups. Suman obediently performs the exercise. Next, Akhil requests that she touch his feet. Suman hesitates, mentioning the belief that by touching someone’s feet who is younger, their age is reduced. She insists that she doesn’t want to decrease his age. Akhil signals that they can discuss it further later.
Suman dials a number and hands the phone to Akhil. Rishi engages in conversation with Akhil, inquiring about his well-being. Akhil responds positively and mentions that their mother is summoning Suman for a ritual. Malini reminds Akhil to address Suman respectfully as “Suman Bhabhi.” Akhil then relays the message, saying, “Suman Bhabhi, Mummy wants you to go.” Rishi acknowledges that they may not have a close friendship, but he trusts Akhil and will leave Suman in his care. Akhil then transfers the call to Suman and takes his leave.
As Rishi assures Suman of bringing joy into their home, he also encourages her to have faith in Neta ji. After their conversation ends, Suman ponders whether Neta Ji would go against his family to support her. In the midst of this, Teerth and Devika arrive with Kritik, who is unconscious. Devika explains how Teerth heroically saved Kritika’s life. Concerned, Chandrakant inquires about what happened to her, and Devika reveals that she had attempted suicide. Fortunately, after being checked by a doctor, Kritika is deemed physically well. Sensing Chandrakant’s hesitation, Devika asks if it would be possible for Kritika to stay at their house for a little while.
Chandrakant claims this house belongs to you and that you don’t require my approval. He also mentions that due to this unfortunate girl, joy has turned into sorrow. Teerth informs Suman that she is standing at the doorstep and approaches her but is interrupted by Devika’s request to remove her from there. Teerth escorts Kritika to the guest room. Meanwhile, Devika confronts Suman and makes a snide remark, questioning if she can sacrifice her own life for her brother’s happiness, just as she supposedly took away her sister’s happiness.
