Sahiba suggests that Yash’s actions were driven by a desire to become closer to the family, only to harm them later. Yash defends himself by proclaiming his love for Jasleen’s family and their reciprocation of that love. He clarifies that he has everything he needs and has no reason to destroy them. He also mentions being deeply affected by the news of Garry’s supposed death and would be happy to meet him if he is indeed alive. This revelation takes aback the family.
