The Brar family is in shock as Gurnoor appears before them. After learning that she may be Sahiba’s long-lost sister, Garry urges her to keep quiet about it. Jasleen and Gurleen express their belief that Gurnoor is sent by God to take care of Akeer, while Manveer’s surprising reaction catches everyone off guard. Bebe reveals that both Akeer and Angad knew about Gurnoor’s true identity but kept it a secret until now, much to their surprise. In defense, Angad explains that he did it for Akeer’s sake. As Sahiba’s photo leaves Manveer speechless, Keerat confirms that Gurnoor is indeed her sister. Understanding the situation at last, Gurnoor approaches Akeer only for him to remind her of his earlier statement that she resembles his mother but isn’t her.
Beeja inquires the school principal about Gurnoor’s current employment. The principal confirms that she used to work there, but not anymore. Curious, Beeja requests for Gurnoor’s whereabouts. The principal questions why Beeja is so invested, considering she is Gurnoor’s relative. Amused, Beeja clarifies that Gurnoor is actually her servant. However, her aide interjects and reveals that Gurnoor has stolen valuable items from their home and fled. In response, the principal suggests going to the police instead of discussing it here.
Beeja chuckles and confidently mentions that as both a police officer and judge, she has a unique approach towards addressing this problem. She cautions the principal to update her if Gurnoor is located, otherwise it could have consequences for the school. The principal finds her behavior odd – why is she so invested in Gurnoor’s situation?
Akeer reassures Gurnoor that she is not his mother, but he still wants her to stay. In an emotional embrace, he expresses his feelings. Meanwhile, Manveer confronts Angad about allowing Gurnoor to remain here. Angad explains that it is necessary for Akeer’s sake. Upon hearing their exchange, Gurnoor approaches them and asks Manveer if she is worried about her possibly stealing or harming anyone here.
As expected, Manveer reiterates her policy of not hiring anyone in the Brar mansion without conducting an interview. Gurnoor reminds her that her son was hired without an interview, but Manveer insists on following this rule to protect her family’s hard-earned money. Gurnoor assures Manveer that she is willing to undergo the interview process. Upon hearing this, Manveer instructs Angad to leave the room so she can conduct the interview with Gurnoor. An anxious Angad exits the room.
Beeja approaches a school staff and shows him Gurnoor’s photo, inquiring if he is familiar with the girl. The staff confirms that he is and Beeja hands him some money, requesting for information on her whereabouts. However, he informs her that Gurnoor left in a student’s car and he does not know the details. Beeja then asks for the car’s number, model, and licence plate, but the staff can only remember that it was a blue car without any further specifics. After returning her money, the staff resumes his duties. Another staff member overhears their conversation and Beeja expresses their frustration with not being able to gather any useful information. They wonder what their next step should be.
Manveer inquires about Gurnoor’s hometown. She replies that it is Delhi. The conversation continues as Manveer mentions the potential opportunities for her there, and questions her decision to come here. However, Gurnoor reveals that her parents have passed away and she had to escape from a harmful situation. When Manveer asks for further details, Gurnoor remembers fleeing from Beeja’s residence in Delhi.
Manveer inquires if Gurnoor is intentionally withholding an answer or trying to fabricate one. Gurnoor responds that there is no ulterior motive, she had been dealing with sadness after her parents’ passing in Delhi and sought a fresh start in Ludhiana. She expresses contentment with how the city has welcomed her and feels a strong connection with Akeer. Additionally, Angad offered her a job to care for Akeer, which she sees as a great opportunity. Manveer concludes that this means Gurnoor is manipulating the child’s emotions.
