The inspector asks why Angad would do that, and the manager informs him that Angad had reserved this and surrounding properties for some time. Sahiba becomes suspicious of an outhouse in a hotel and asks the police to open it. It seems that Angad spoke suspiciously when Garry called him and did not indicate where he was. Sahiba recalls Angad speaking suspiciously.
Sahiba believes Angad is inside this outhouse and asks Angad to open the door. Garry agrees and says she can’t doubt him. Sahiba shows a video of Akeer going with a man wearing a tiger costume and shoes that match Angad’s. The inspector asks the constables to break open the door.
Sahiba says even she will go in. Angad agrees to open the door and says police will enter. The inspector asks what her problem is when Angad is cooperating. Sahiba says Angad can easily manipulate the police with his money power, and she can’t trust anyone. Angad agrees to let Sahiba in after much insistence. They walk in, not finding Akeer there, but finding Akeer’s photos drying on a wire.
As Anangad reveals, when he visited Panesar looking for Simran, he befriended Akeer and soon became attached to the boy, learning that he was Sahiba’s son. After Sahiba warned him not to touch his son, he took Akeer’s photo and developed it here, but now Sahiba accuses him of kidnapping him. He kidnapped her son, says Sahiba.
“Instead of questioning me, Sahiba, perhaps you should question your husband,” suggests Angad, gesturing for the inspector to bring the man forward. With a heavy sigh, he states that this particular man had given a large sum of money to Diljeet. Sahiba directs her inquiry towards Diljeet, who defensively expresses his frustration at being doubted. He explained that he had sold his bike without proper documentation to offer a reward to anyone who helped find Akeer. He speaks passionately about his love for Akeer. Suddenly, the inspector receives a call informing them that a boy’s body has been found. The news shatters Sahiba, and she begins to fall apart, but Angad steadies her with a comforting hand on her shoulder.
They all arrive at the spot. Angad asks Sahiba to stand aside and go to check the body. He returns to her. She asks if it is their son. He then questions why she said their son, if Akeer is his son. Sahiba says she said it once and won’t repeat it. Angad says no. Sahiba reminds him that he had spoken to her twice about Akeer, once over the phone 6 years ago and later in his hotel room.
Angad denies having prior knowledge and adopts a derogatory tone, similar to his mother’s when she scolds Sahiba for keeping him in the dark. He then accuses Sahiba of allowing a stranger, known as Akeer’s papa, also known as Diljeet, into their lives. However, Sahiba reminds Angad that it was Diljeet who came to their rescue when he had abandoned them, and he has taken care of Akeer like a true father. Therefore, according to Sahiba, it is Diljeet who has rights over Akeer, not Angad. Despite this, Angad continues to raise his voice and threatens to use his financial power to take Akeer away from Sahiba. In response, Sahiba challenges him by stating that no money can separate a son from his mother.
