Sahiba regales Akeer with a story about a king and queen. The king had been away for many years, much to Akeer’s curiosity. Sahiba explains that it’s a long story, but when the king learns of the lost prince, he is determined to find him. She remembers Angad’s unwavering determination to reunite with his son. Whether the prince joins his father or not is up to him. Akeer suggests the queen should go with them, as they cannot be apart. However, Sahiba reveals that the king and queen no longer live together due to a misunderstanding. She recalls Angad accusing and banishing her from their home.
Akeer inquires about his mother’s apparent sadness, as he sees himself as the one who can solve all her problems. Sahiba reassures him she is not upset and lightens the mood with a playful anecdote about her husband’s loud snoring. Akeer chuckles and goes to bed while Sahiba reminisces about her playful disagreements with Angad. As Akeer drifts off to sleep, Sahiba reveals that she will be leaving temporarily to bring him back for good from his friend Diljeet’s house. Before she leaves, she takes Akeer’s toothbrush and comb for a DNA test and ventures off to find Diljeet’s room to collect samples. The maid notices her searching and asks if she needs assistance. Sahiba explains that she wants to speak with Diljeet, and the maid guides her in the right direction. She cautiously enters Diljeet’s room and swiftly grabs DNA samples before he returns, berating his guards for allowing Angad into their home.
Diljeet immediately notices the maid and inquires about her presence, reminding her of his instructions never to leave Akeer alone. The maid explains that she is there as Akeer’s mother, Sahiba, is in the room. Diljeet then goes to Akeer’s room with a nurse to check on Sahiba but finds out she is not there. Another maid informs him that Sahiba had gone to speak with him earlier. Upon returning to his room, Diljeet questions Sahiba about her presence, and she reveals that she had brought Akeer’s favourite teddy as he cannot sleep without it. Diljeet allows her to go and follows her. Sahiba becomes aware of his presence and worries about how she will be able to get DNA samples in front of him. She cleverly pretends to spill milk on the teddy and requests Diljeet to have a maid clean it. As he turns to call for a maid, Sahiba secretly hides his hairbrush. The maid arrives and takes the teddy away for cleaning.
Diljeet approaches Sahiba and points out she had not come to his room just for the teddy bear. This makes Sahiba feel nervous, causing her to suggest that she should leave quickly. Diljeet then questions why she prefers to stay in the gurudwara instead of her soon-to-be husband’s fancy house. To this, Sahiba clarifies that she wants to move into his house only after they are married and asks him to take care of Akeer while she is away. Diljeet assures her that he will keep Akeer safe until her return, after which Sahiba leaves. Meanwhile, Angad and Garry patiently wait for her outside the house. When Sahiba joins them, Angad asks if she has brought their needs. Without hesitation, Sahiba hands over Diljeet’s and Akeer’s hair and toothbrushes for DNA sampling purposes.
Together, Garry reveals that their plan was successful. He reminisces about when Sahiba used water to control Angad’s temper and warned him against making rash decisions that could harm Akeer. Angad admits he can’t stand seeing Sahiba with Diljeet. Agreeing on the need to work together, Garry suggests they find a way to rescue Akeer from Diljeet’s grasp. However, both of them express their mutual dislike for each other. Despite this, Garry proposes a solution – Sahiba should act as if she agrees to Diljeet’s demands. To their surprise, Sahiba agrees and adds that she plans to prove that Diljeet is not Akeer’s biological father. She also discloses that Diljeet’s name was not on Akeer’s birth certificate for five years and was only recently added by her.
Sahiba says she wants to correct her mistake and asks Angad if she doesn’t want to be with Diljeet. Angad says they have sent DNA samples to prove he is Akeer’s father, not Diljeet. He loads a fake bullet into a gun to frighten Diljeet and gain Sahiba’s entry.
