Akeer shares with Paati ji, the gurudwara priest, that his mother is at god’s house. He wonders if she would be pleased if he served in the gurudwara. Paati ji reassures him and says yes without a doubt. Angad then seeks Paati ji’s input on their plan for Akeer’s dastarbandi. After considering, Paati ji suggests they hold it this Sunday. Angad questions Akeer about inviting Paati ji to the ceremony. Upon receiving an invitation from Akeer, Paati ji happily accepts and confirms his attendance to perform the dastarbandi ritual.
Jasleen reprimands Keerat for assisting Gurnoor, a member of their staff, in carrying groceries at the gurudwara. Gurnoor acknowledges Keerat’s compassionate nature and urges her to let her handle it independently. As a gesture of gratitude, Keerat promises to prepare a delicious meal for the gurudwara staff.
Condescendingly, Manveer declares they have come for Akeer and will take care of the cooking while reminding the staff to keep their distance. Gurnoor interjects that she is Akeer’s teacher. Manveer says there should be no debating in the gurdwara and orders her to leave. Sahiba then asks what she should do. The other staff members suggest finding another task for her to do.
As Gurnoor tends to devotees, she becomes anxious upon spotting Beeja and her aide. She swiftly makes her getaway, causing Akeer to start searching for her. Angad proposes that they both look for Gurnoor, but Akeer warns him not to tail him. In a desperate attempt to reach her, Angad dials Gurnoor’s number only to find it switched off. He then asks Bebe to accompany Akeer and prevent him from leaving until he arrives. As Bebe holds onto Akeer, Gurnoor attempts to discreetly leave the gurudwara, relieved that Beeja hasn’t noticed her. However, her relief is short-lived as she is startled by the seemingly unexpected presence of Beeja directly in front of her. Swiftly, she makes a hasty escape once again.
Beeja finds peace in witnessing Gurnoor’s fear. Seeking refuge in the grocery room, Gurnoor senses a looming presence and emphatically warns it to keep its distance. Reacting with force, she wields a stick at her perceived attacker. As Angad breaks free and approaches, he inquires about the commotion. In response, Gurnoor rushes into his arms for comfort and support. Angad presses for an explanation, but Gurnoor remains tight-lipped. Understanding her need for space, he refrains from pressing further until she is ready to share.
The Brars have decorated their home for Akeer’s dastarbandi celebration. As Angad gazes at the invitation board, he becomes emotional. Garry reminds him to smile; it is his son’s special day. Angad also wants his son to call him “papa,” like Bani calls Garry, but it seems unlikely.
Garry is confident that Akeer will eventually see him as a father figure. As they talk, Gurnoor listens in. Angad approaches her, and she admits that she became emotional after hearing their conversation. He responds by reminding her that she previously asked why Akeer behaves poorly towards him, and he believes she now understands that he and his son do not have a good relationship.
Gurnoor assures Angad that Akeer will soon call him “Papa.” Looking at Inder’s photo, Angad wonders when his son will call him that. Gurnoor suggests matching Akeer’s dastarbandi cloth to Angad’s pink turban. Without hesitation, Angad agrees.
During the discussion with other family members, Bebe shares that they have collectively decided that Manveer will perform Akeer’s dastarbandi. Manveer acknowledges Bebe’s status as the eldest and her right to make such decisions. Bebe suggests that since she performed her grandson’s dastarbandi, it is now Manveer’s turn. Gurnoor then selects a pink cloth for the ceremony, prompting Manveer to protest and declare her right to choose the color of the dastarbandi cloth.
Gurnoor asks Manveer to select a pink fabric that compliments Angad’s turban. Bebe and the others also urge Manveer to choose the same color. Smiling, Manveer reflects on Gurnoor’s excellent choice. Akeer notices the invitation board with his name on it for his dastarbandi ceremony and feels elated. Simran points out that he is the center of attention today. Sahiba mentions that his father loves him deeply and is arranging everything for his joy.
Akeer observes Angad engaging in conversation with some guests. Approaching him, he inquires if they have all arrived for him. Angad confirms, adding that there is a surprise in store. Soon after, Akeer’s friend Lucky and his mother enter. With excitement, Akeer embraces Lucky and escorts him to see his room. Angad expresses his gratitude to Lucky’s mother for gracing them with her presence.
