Akeer introduces his best friend Lucky from Panesar to Gurnoor, who enters the room. Akeer mentions that they used to attend school and play together. Gurnoor expresses joy at seeing his close friend and inquires about the reason for Lucky’s visit. Akeer reveals that Angad had invited Lucky over. Gurnoor suggests doing something special for Angad as a gesture of gratitude. Akeer agrees, saying he plans to thank Angad personally. However, Gurnoor proposes a different idea. Meanwhile, Beeja, who has arrived outside the Brar mansion, instructs her aide Preeta to infiltrate their celebration and cause chaos to make Gurnoor uneasy.

Akeer’s dastarbandi ceremony begins. He takes a seat beside Angad. Angad inquires what brought him here, as he must still complete his dastarbandi. Akeer expresses his gratitude and affectionately addresses him as “Papa.” Upon hearing this, Angad’s heart fills with joy and asks Akeer to repeat it. Akeer happily obliges. The Brars are delighted to witness this moment. Angad exclaims that he has given him the greatest happiness in the world. Akeer gives Gurnoor a thumbs up in acknowledgment.

Angad asks Akeer if Gurnoor had requested him to address him as “papa.” Akeer is taken back to a moment when Gurnoor expressed that after his dastarbandi, he would truly embody the values of a Sikh and follow Babaji’s teachings. Affirming this, Akeer nods, and Gurnoor reminds him that Babaji teaches the importance of respecting one’s parents and never behaving disrespectfully towards them.

After returning from the flashback, Akeer recounts a story his mother used to tell him about a king, queen, and prince. In the tale, the queen asks the prince if he will remain by the king’s side. The prince responds that he will stay with both the king and queen, which makes Angad even happier.

The Brars speculate that Gurnoor must have persuaded Akeer to refer to Angad as “papa.” This causes jealousy for Manveer, who overhears Gurnoor being praised. Jasleen then questions Manveer on how they will handle Gurnoor’s presence. Attempting to dismiss Gurnoor, Manveer instructs her to attend to the guests. As Gurnoor walks away, Beeja’s assistant approaches her and informs her that Mrs Maan is wandering freely. Curious, Gurnoor asks if she is familiar with Mrs Maan.

Aide claims to be familiar with Gurnoor and warns that she will expose her secrets to Brars. As Angad approaches, he questions why Gurnoor is present and who the undisclosed guest is. Aide praises Gurnoor’s singing abilities. Angad queries why Aide is holding Gurnoor’s hand. Gurnoor explains that Aunty admired her bangles, and she intends to get similar ones for her. Consequently, the Aide departs from the scene.

Manveer approaches Akeer for his dastarbandi, but Akeer insists that Gurnoor should be the one to perform it. After calling out to her several times, Gurnoor finally walks over. However, Manveer accuses her of brainwashing Akeer. Despite this, Akeer continues to urge Gurnoor to do the dastarbandi. Gurnoor takes Angad and Manveer aside and admits that Manveer wrongfully accused her. She explains that she will now lie for Manveer’s benefit. Later, she approaches Akeer and shares that her mother appeared in her dream last night and was very happy about Akeer’s dastarbandi. She even wished for Akeer’s grandmother to perform it. Eventually, Akeer agrees, and the Brars comment on how well he listens to Gurnoor. Finally, with Manveer performing the dastarbandi for Akeer, Gurnoor fears that Beeja may send someone else to harm or manipulate them at any time.

Precap :

Gurnoor becomes anxious at Zoravar’s voice on the phone, knowing she can’t help but think of him. Though fear may be the root behind her thoughts, she attempts to rid herself of any connection by discarding her sim and cutting ties with someone from her past.
