Gurnoor confides in Angad about avoiding drama in people’s lives, unaware of when it may arise in hers and those around her. When Angad asks about her past, she reveals that after her parents’ passing, she supported herself by working at a restaurant. Despite this, her ultimate dream was to become a singer, which she eventually achieved when she landed a singing gig at the same restaurant. Unfortunately, her life took a dark turn when Zoravar, having spotted her performing one day, kidnapped and confined her, subjecting her to daily torture. Eventually, she mustered up the courage to flee from his mansion but does not wish for others to be involved in the trouble caused by him. With that in mind, she sets off on foot.
Angad halts her and urges her to accompany him back to his household, reassuring Akeer that Zoravar will never harm her. He courteously opens the car door for her. Gurnoor ponders over Mr Brar’s promise to stand by her despite learning of her past, questioning whether it is fair for her selfishness to endanger his family. She resumes walking, wondering why she experiences anguish as she moves further away from him.
Veer informs Angad that they will head back home. As the saying goes, “God helps those who help themselves.” Gurnoor has made her decision. Garry agrees with Veer and reminds Angad to shut the door. Trusting in Gurnoor’s unpredictable nature, Angad is sure she will return to him. He eagerly awaits her return, and eventually, she does.
Angad brings Gurnoor back to their home. Manveer angrily points out that when she asked Gurnoor about her marital status, she firmly denied it, so why did she return? Angad explains that he has already shared Gurnoor’s story – how her husband had drugged and forced her into marriage and how he had treated her with cruelty. Realizing the danger, Manveer advises Gurnoor to leave the house since her husband may know her whereabouts and could cause trouble for them. The rest of the family also joins in urging Gurnoor to go for her safety.
According to Hansraj, Angad is lenient towards Gurnoor because he sees Sahiba in her. However, Angad argues that his actions are driven by genuine intentions to help someone in need and seeks Bebe’s opinion. Upon hearing the situation, Bebe sides with her family. Angad then explains that he is simply following Daarji’s rules. However, Bebe adds that Daarji also had another rule – to break all rules and even people’s hearts if it meant protecting the family. Garry chimes in, saying that Akeer is emotionally attached to Gurnoor and cannot bear being separated from her. Bebe suggests finding another teacher for Akeer. Ultimately, everyone urges Gurnoor to go through with their plan despite objections.
Gurnoor reminds Angad that she previously mentioned how no one wants any unnecessary drama in their lives and suggests it would be best for her to leave. Jasleen issues a warning for Gurnoor never to come back. In response, Angad firmly grasps Gurnoor’s hand and declares he will accompany her if she cannot stay. Manveer interjects, questioning whether Angad will abandon his family for this girl. Angad affirms that safeguarding Gurnoor is his top priority at the moment.
Bebe made a conscious choice to maintain the unity of her family, expressing her desire for Angad to remain with them while allowing Gurnoor also to stay. However, Manveer interjects and emphasizes that Gurnoor’s presence should not cause any issues for the family. Angad assures them that there will be no problems in easing everyone’s concerns. Simran reinforces this by reminding Gurnoor that Angad is dependable and keeps his promises. Finally, Angad asks Keerat to accompany Gurnoor to her room.
As Gurnoor returns to the room, she shares with Keerat her appreciation for Angad’s support against his family. She struggles to put into words the intense emotions she has towards him. Just then, Angad enters, and Keerat takes her leave. With Angad alone, Gurnoor mentions that he didn’t have to come to talk about the incident from earlier. In response, Angad apologizes for misunderstanding and mistreating her.

Sahiba dashes around the house while Angad trails behind her. Gurnoor reveals that she has something to share with him, a secret she has never told anyone. Zoravar chimes in, expressing his curiosity and addresses Sahiba affectionately as “gudiya”. This makes Gurnoor nervous as she sees Zoravar’s approach.
