Gurnoor heads to Angad’s room and informs him that her result is now available, but she can’t access it on her phone. Angad promptly grabs his laptop and offers to help. Gurnoor expresses her concern about possibly not being selected, but Angad reassures her that it’s doubtful. He pulls up the website for her to check. As soon as Gurnoor sees her acceptance, she joyfully embraces Angad. However, she soon composed herself, and they bid each other farewell.
As Akeer enters the room, he fondly recalls his mother’s words about the power of a hug. Angad reminds Gurnoor to prepare for college adequately and mentions that she will soon attend classes with Akeer’s teacher. They discuss Gurnoor’s busy schedule, including music lessons on Tuesdays and Thursdays and time spent with Akeer for two days. Akeer affectionately remarks that Gurnoor is like a mother figure to him.
In a fit of anger, Zoravar shatters a glass. Beeja immediately expresses her worry and inquiries about his well-being. Zoravar reveals that Angad is the source of his injury. Beeja suggests that they either distance or instigate a fight between Angad and his two brothers, known for their strength. Zoravar questions how they will accomplish this. Beeja explains her plan to manipulate Jasleen, who is unhappy and constantly complains, into provoking her son Garry to battle with Angad.
Angad notifies Gurnoor that he has covered her fees. She gratefully acknowledges his gesture and begins her initial day at music school. The instructor introduces Zoravar as the proprietor of the school, who then proceeds to introduce himself and express his desire to engage with each student personally. He requests the teacher to send them in one by one. Gurnoor starts feeling anxious upon seeing him, but Zoravar promptly calls her up next.
Gurnoor enters his cabin, visibly shivering. Zoravar reminds her that he has made it clear that her music is exclusively for him, and he will monitor her whereabouts. As he attempts to shut the door, Angad warns him against mistreating Ms Kaur. Gurnoor seeks shelter behind Angad.
Zoravar inquires of Angad whether he is fixated on Gurnoor due to her resemblance to his wife. Angad assures him that Gurnoor is an individual with her own distinct identity, which he fully respects. He also promises to shield her from any harm caused by Zoravar and take care of her daily transportation to school. Furthermore, he vows legal action against the owner if they attempt to trouble Ms Gurnoor. Meanwhile, Zoravar stands angry and frustrated as Angad escorts Gurnoor away from the situation.
Upon returning to their hometown, Gurnoor gives Angad back the fees he paid for Akeer’s schooling. She explains that Akeer is not simply a student to her; she has an emotional bond with him and cannot accept money to take care of him. While Angad appreciates this sentiment, he insists that Gurnoor keep the cheque. However, Gurnoor stands firm in her refusal, reminding Angad that he has already done a lot for her and she cannot professionally accept the cheque.
Gurnoor and Angad jokingly admit to being unprofessional in their behaviour. As they are joined by their friends Garry, Veer, and Keerat, who watch from afar, Gurnoor playfully calls Angad by his first name and declares that she will continue to do so in private while addressing him as “Mr. Brar” in public. Their three friends then join the fun and tease them both good-naturedly.
Angad advises Gurnoor to consider divorcing Zoravar, the monstrous individual. Surprised by the possibility, Gurnoor shares her reluctance due to Zoravar’s controlling hold and inquires about the process for divorce. Keerat suggests seeking assistance from their acquaintance, Garry, who is well-versed in this matter. Upon contacting his lawyer, Garry acknowledges the situation’s complexity and notes that convincing Zoravar to agree to a divorce may not be simple but assures that it can still be achieved.
Gurnoor inquires about meeting Zoravar, to which the lawyer confirms that even the judge may advise both parties. The lawyer then asks if Gurnoor has any evidence against Zoravar and, upon receiving a negative response, suggests that she meet with him and persuade him to agree to a divorce. This causes Gurnoor to feel afraid. Angad urges her to meet with Zoravar and intimidate him with the threat of filing a harassment case, believing that this will make him agree to a divorce.
