The Episode begins with Sayali expressing her gratitude for Sachin’s support towards her family. In response, Sachin reassures her that her family is also his own and there’s no need for apologies or thanks. He then offers her some sweets to take home. However, he receives a call and agrees to meet later, stating that he has a long pick-up ride. Sayali understands and tells him she will go home by bus. Sensing her hesitation, Sachin offers to get her a rickshaw instead. After dropping her off, he reminds her to give the money to the money lender and hands it over with gratitude. She insists he doesn’t need to thank her, and he promises not to do so. With a smile on her face, she watches him leave.
Chitti assures, “I will teach Renu a lesson without harming her. She was speaking to someone when my accomplice messaged me. Remember Renu mentioned the money? Let’s go get it.” Dilip hesitates, “But isn’t this stealing?” Chitti counters, “It’s just getting what’s rightfully yours. Trust me, I’ll distract her, and you can take her bag.” Dilip expresses concern, “But she knows me.” Chitti advises, “Wear the helmet.”
Dilip confesses his fear to Chitti, who then goads him into seeking revenge. The auto driver suggests Renu walks instead of riding, and Chitti takes the bike wheel. Dilip seizes Renu’s purse and discards it after taking the money. Renu cries out for help, accusing them of being thieves. A bystander offers to call the police, but she declines, claiming she has urgent matters to attend to and will handle it herself.
When Renu arrives at the financer’s office, he immediately asks about Shakuntala’s whereabouts. Renu responds that she is currently out of town. The financer wastes no time reminding her to pay and scolds her for being late. However, Renu expresses her concern about having difficulty paying this month.
According to her, two men arrived on a motorcycle while I was receiving cash and took the money from my purse. He doubts me and questions if I can be trusted. She suggests he should go and question the witnesses. He accuses her of deceiving him and demands his money back. Renu becomes frightened. He instructs Saki to confine Renu in a room. Despite her pleas to be allowed to go home and retrieve the money, he refuses and threatens that anyone calling from her house will also be asked for money. As instructed, Saki locks Renu in the room and leaves.
Renu expresses concern about the outcome of Paresh and others finding out. Sayali arrives and hears Renu calling for assistance. As she approaches, Saki intervenes and requests her to come to the office to hand over money. Sayali clarified that she is Sachin’s wife and has come with the payment as Sachin had prior commitments. Saki asks if she has brought the total amount while Renu calls for help. Sayali reassures that she has all the money and Sachin has some errands to run. Saki approves and advises her to deposit it at the designated place.
Sayali inquires about Renu, and the lady responds that she has been locked up for failing to pay interest. The lady further reveals that Renu had secretly mortgaged her house and taken a loan of 17 lakhs. She also mentions how Renu’s habit of coming up with new stories and not repaying loans promptly led to her being locked up by Sir. Sayali expresses her disagreement, but the lady reminds her that not paying interest is wrong before dismissing her. In front of a familiar voice, Sayali calls out for Renu.
As Renu catches sight of her, she quickly conceals herself. Sayali then notices her and inquires about her presence. Renu responds, “Just go back home, and I’ll be there shortly.” Sayali defends, “She’s my mother-in-law, don’t bother her.” Saki interjects that she will remain confined until she repays the interest. This alarms Sayali, who questions what that means. “It seems Renu has put our house on mortgage,” Saki clarifies. Dismissing it, Renu urges Sayali to leave. “How can I just leave? I’ll call Sachin,” Sayali insists. However, Renu objects and says not to involve anyone else.
Sayali informs Sachin about Renu’s situation and asks him to come quickly because she is worried. Sachin inquires if Renu gave the money, and Sayali confirms she did not. He suggests letting her experience the consequences of not paying interest, but Sayali insists on helping her. Sachin agrees to come and asks Sayali to inform their father about Renu’s situation. She agrees and tells that Sachin is on his way. Renu questions why Sachin was called, and Sayali explains that they need his help, but Renu doesn’t want Paresh to be involved.
Tejas, Sachin, and Sayali arrive at the location. Paresh mentions that Sayali informed him about Renu mortgaging the house papers. Sachin confirms Tejas’ knowledge on the matter. However, Tejas denies having any prior information. Paresh suggests they go inside to gather more details. Sayali intervenes, pleading for her mother-in-law’s safety. A man inquires if she is Sachin’s mother, and Sayali confirms with a yes, asking him to leave Sasubai alone. He then questions who will provide the required funds. Soon, Sachin, Paresh, and Tejas join them, and Sachin asks about Renu’s loan amount. The man clarifies that after discovering she was Sachin’s mother, he requested her to contact her family as she had been making excuses until then.
Tejas mentions calling the police. The man reprimands him, revealing it is a loan of 17 lakhs. Paresh questions, “17 lakhs?” Sayali confirms it and explains that she took two loans, 10 lakhs and 7 lakhs respectively. Sachin deduces that the 7 lakhs were for Tejas’ marriage. Sayali suggests leaving Renu out of this since the rest of them are present. Sachin agrees to let her go and declares they will resolve the issue.
The man requests the lady to bring Renu. Paresh inquires about when she had mortgaged the papers. The man replies that it was two months ago and explains that she had told him she was on her way to get the money, but it got stolen. Sachin expresses suspicion towards Tejas, who responds by clarifying that he was at the office during that time. Sachin firmly states that he will investigate further.
Renu is being observed by everyone. Sachin appreciates her. Tejas checks in on her well-being. She gives a nod. Paresh questions her actions, stating that she has put the house papers on mortgage, which can be considered theft and a major deceit, as he had requested the same papers for Sachin’s car. Sachin confirms that Renu went through all this trouble just to ensure that they don’t lose the house. Sayali reminds Renu of the harsh words and curse she had previously directed towards her, also accusing her of secretly mortgaging the house.
Paresh accuses Renu of having no shame. In response, Renu claims that two men have stolen the money. Sachin inquires about the interest money, which the man reveals to be 85000rs. Sachin then asks Renu where she obtained this money and if it belongs to their father. Renu confirms this with a nod. Tejas questions if they have filed a police complaint. Sachin suggests taking legal action against Renu. The man interjects, stating that he had warned her before, but she made up a story about her sick mother-in-law and husband being away in the village. Paresh is shocked that Renu kept all of this from him and demands to know how she was able to mortgage the house without his knowledge. This triggers Sachin’s memory of Paresh insulting their brother Dilip and accuses both Paresh and Tejas of being responsible for stealing from their own household.
