During the episode, Renu says your family won’t be there. Sachin asks Sayali, “Is the puja for anyone else or you? It should be up to you to decide who to invite and who not.” Paresh smiles. Sachin asks Sayali to let Renu say anything. He says I have already invited your family. The puja is at 10 a.m., right? They will be here. Your friends are coming. I met them and invited them, your landlord’s wife and neighbors of the chawl.
Sayali smiled as Sachin assured her, “If anyone else you would like to invite, just let me know, and I’ll go get them.” Paresh agreed with a nod before leaving the room. Sachin then turned to Sayali and told her not to worry and to invite whoever she wanted. Just then, Renu entered the room and argued with Paresh. He reminded her to show Sayali the same respect as they do Roshni, adding that it was fortunate Aai didn’t overhear them. As Sachin approached Sayali, he revealed, “I lied earlier when I said no one else was coming. You have every right to live on your terms, so I said that just to quiet Renu. You should invite everyone you want here; it’s your special day, and your loved ones should be present. I didn’t have time to invite them myself, but remember, this is your life, and you should live it as you see fit. The decision is yours; choose the right path for you.”
She gets happy. He explains. She says, “I feel very happy, thanks.” He asks why. She says you didn’t invite my mum, but you stood up for me before Renu, so thanks. He says there’s no need to thank you; stay calm, okay? She nods. “I’d like to invite my mum,” she says.
She thinks of Sachin and smiles. I had no money to refill the gas in the car, so I came home to take money. Take care, I will go and come.
Renu calls Roshni and talks to her. She says you must come home tomorrow; Aaji wants to meet you, so she called you and kept a puja for Sayali. I became a good Saas for you but didn’t get one. Renu says no, just come and have food now. She ends the call. Roshni says you have to go home early. She says Renu behaves rudely with Sayali, why does she hate Sachin and Sayali, something is wrong. Vidya comes and says I’ve been waiting for you.
She says Renu invited me to Sayali’s puja. Vidya says you’ll attend a function at your in-laws’ house. Roshni says Tejas’ Aaji has come from the village. She tells Vidya not to reveal anything to Aaji. Roshni gets upset seeing her mum and Krish. Sayali speaks to Shubha on the phone, praising Sachin. He says we just met your mum. You called her again and talked to her.
I’m going to wear it for puja tomorrow, Sayali says. He says you didn’t do any drama while buying sarees. She says you chose it, and I liked it, so I’m wearing it. He says if anyone criticizes it, you’ll let me know. You try the saree, send a pic to your mum, and if you like it, you can wear it. She says don’t worry, I like the saree, everyone is coming for the puja, not to see me wearing it.
Sachin agrees not to be informed of the matter later, and Sayali immediately challenges him to put on a saree. Acknowledging her proposal, he confidently asserts that he knows the ins and outs of wearing one and proceeds to showcase his skills. Despite his best efforts, Sayali can’t help but chuckle as she points out a slight error in the drape. Sachin quickly reassures her that it is just a demonstration and makes another attempt, declaring that he has perfected it. To end their friendly exchange, Sayali requests him to stroll and flaunt his saree skills. Sachin obliges, but being lightheaded from not eating anything, he stumbles onto the bed. As Sayali laughs at his expense, Sachin explains that he hadn’t eaten anything, so he lost balance. Just then, he receives a call from Anya and inquires if she has discovered the culprit behind something they had previously discussed earlier. His question causes concern for Sayali.
Anya, he says no, I won’t leave him. Sayali, he says, I won’t leave that man for troubling me. She asks him to calm down. He goes. Roshni tells her mother not to come there. Vidya says don’t shout at her. Roshni asks what I will say if Tejas comes. Vidya says he won’t go, chill. Krish asks who is Tejas, your friend? Roshni says yes, go inside and play.
Roshni’s mother arrives at her house and gives her some money. She explains that she wanted to visit before Roshni’s wedding to offer her help. Roshni expresses her gratitude for the opportunity to improve her life and asks her mother to stay the night and leave in the morning. Her mother agrees. Roshni then goes to see Krish. The following morning, Sayali brings tea for Paresh and Aaji, mentioning that Sachin is getting ready and her mother will be on time. She offers Sachin a cup of tea, but he declines, saying he needs to leave soon as they have financial obligations to meet about their bike’s EMI and repairs.
Paresh mentions that the expenditure for this puja is not much. Aaji agrees, stating that her grandchildren’s happiness is worth more than the cost, and instructs Paresh to fetch the jewelry boxes. Renu and Tejas observe this exchange. Renu suggests Tejas stay home since Roshni will be arriving soon, and he can spend time with her. Meanwhile, Paresh retrieves the boxes, and Aaji proudly displays the jewelry, mentioning her intent to have Sayali wear it for today’s puja as she never got the opportunity. She clarifies that this particular set is reserved for Sayali only, but Paresh reassures her that it’s just for their children. Aaji assures him she is unlike Renu, who plays favorites and has equally divided their ancestral jewelry into three shares. This brings a smile to Paresh’s face.
Renu explains that she had to work hard to earn two lakhs for their expenses, but Sachin took it. Tejas suggests buying a necklace for Roshni while mentioning that he didn’t attend his interview today. Renu advises him to find a job soon. Sachin expresses his determination to earn money for his car and mentions being unable to participate in the ladies’ puja. Renu asks when they can expect the car back, to which Sachin replies that they need more money for the repairs and he has to go pick up the ride. As he leaves, Aaji presents Sayali and Sachin with jewelry, causing Sachin to decline, saying that he doesn’t need it since he has already borrowed money from her.
Sayali says, “Yes, we don’t need this; your blessings are enough.” Aaji says, “You don’t think of it; it’s my family tradition. Don’t you want your children to remember me?” He says, “I will go now.” Renu taunts Sachin and Paresh. She says, “Keep this as my blessing.”
