Dadi says weather and fate can change, but family rules cannot. Krish will join the office, Charu will take care of the house, and no girl in this family has ever worked outside the house. Everyone leaves. Vidya asks Armaan to stop it. She says you aren’t done by insulting Maasa. He asks why Charu cannot do a job. She says you have never asked this before, so there must be a reason.

He mentions Charu and Krish’s careers while she blames Abhira. She walks away as Ruhi appears, urging Charu to draw and destress. Despite hesitation, the two begin sketching in a book. Ruhi reminisces about drawing butterflies on walls and being picky with clothes. Charu asks if she has any cousins since she doesn’t have siblings. Ruhi confirms she has maternal cousins, but Abhira interrupts, jokingly teasing that they live in the 18th century and need to stop blaming her for everything.

Armaan urges her to drink water and calm down, which she does. He expresses his gratitude, but she quickly spits out the water and reminds him that she will continue to react this way if he thanks her again. He assures her that he won’t do it again. She worries about Dadi finding out about her behaviour towards Charu, fearing it will affect her relationship with Armaan’s family. He reassures her that he will handle the situation. She then recalls how harsh she was towards Charu and worries about the consequences. Once again, he promises to take care of it. She then brings up his promise to her mother regarding choosing between their family and her mother’s dream – and affirms that she will always choose her mother’s dream. Just then, Ruhi catches them in an intimate moment before walking away.

Armaan advises Abhira to relax as they discuss her future career prospects. He reassures her there won’t be any need for fighting, but Ruhi expresses concern that involving him may complicate matters. Abhira brings up Armaan’s failed attempt to convince Dadi of Charu’s education, questioning how he can now advocate for her aspirations. However, Armaan assures her that he will not let the same thing happen again. Frustrated, she questions the purpose of their marriage if she cannot pursue her studies and work. Ruhi suggests that he may suffer consequences if Armaan intervenes on Abhira’s behalf. Abhira considers giving up on her studies, but Armaan reminds her of the importance of family. Disheartened, she decides to speak with Dadi herself.

He shuts the door and says don’t go, everyone is stressed, everything happens because of you. She says it doesn’t happen because of me, and your family has its issues. He says it takes time to change their thinking. She says she won’t know anything about Dadi; that’s final. He says you won’t say anything to Dadi. That’s final. She says sorry, I don’t trust you, I don’t think you can take my responsibility. As it is morning, Dadi informs Ruhi that I received a call from an NGO, and they ask me to bring my new bahu along.

Grandma inquires why the organizers want me to bring you along, as their intention is for their girls to be motivated. She spots Abhira and commends Ruhi. Ruhi begins to feel lightheaded. Abhira notices this and supports her. Grandma asks what’s wrong. Ruhi explains that her medication is potent. Grandma instructs Manisha to call a doctor, but Ruhi insists she’s okay. Abhira reminds her to eat correctly and care for herself, as she has to inspire young girls at the event without giving them the impression of fainting spells. Dadi decides to go alone, leaving Vidya responsible for caring for Ruhi. Armaan follows after Abhira, prompting Manisha to remark on his constant devotion towards her. As Abhira chops onions, she recalls Dadi’s words and starts crying. Armaan notices her distress and tries to comfort her by assuring her that Dadi’s mood is off and that he will talk to her about it. He also asks Abhira not to mention anything about it to Dadi.

She retrieves the toy tortoise from his bag. He reminds her that it symbolises good luck and that she gave it to him. Despite taking it back, she remains quiet in front of Dadi. He leaves, and this upsets her. Aryan suggests Krish and Charu play together. Ruhi pleads with them to do so for her sake. Armaan arrives, and Aryan greets him as the champion. He invites Armaan to join them, and they start playing a card game. Aryan declares that only Armaan and Ruhi are left in the game. Charu compliments their strong cards, while Krish admits to beating Armaan’s challenges. Aryan encourages them to try to break Armaan’s winning streak, but Ruhi reveals her hand, causing Armaan to stop Krish from playing further. He announces Ruhi as the winner, prompting Aryan to praise her while she smiles happily. As Armaan takes a call, Ruhi sneaks a peek at his cards and notices three Aces.

She asks why did you lose intentionally. He says I will lose 1000 games if it makes you smile. Surekha stumbles, and the gift basket falls. She says we got Makar Sankranti invitations from Poddars. She says the Poddars changed their behaviour, and Ruhi refused to accompany me. Suwarna says we have to leave. Surekha says I won’t come, sorry.

Abhira says Dadi’s interview came on social media, and everyone praised her. Everyone gets happy. Dadi comes. Manisha says we want a party; congrats. Dadi gives some money to everyone. Abhira thinks I wouldn’t say I like this, but something else. Dadi says yes, ask. Abhira says promise me, you’ll give me what I ask for. Dadi promises to provide me with what she wants. Dadi says this won’t happen.
