The episode begins with Manish explaining that he was unprepared for this marriage but had to agree because of Ruhi. He then makes a request, expressing that Ruhi desires love and hopes she receives plenty of it. Upon seeing Armaan, Ruhi thanked him for the special gift he sent, which she enjoyed. Suddenly, Abhira interrupted, shouting for the bus to stop. The conductor tells her not to cause any trouble as they don’t want to be delayed. However, she wants to get off and calls out for assistance. Continuing the conversation, Ruhi mentions the jewelry worn at the Haldi ceremony, which she loved.
As Armaan remains silent, Charu retrieves the garlands. His mind wanders to thoughts of Abhira. Vidya then instructs Armaan and Ruhi to exchange the garlands. However, Abhira accuses them of kidnapping her and asks for help. The conductor intervenes, urging them not to cause any trouble. He halts the bus, and Abhira jumps off and runs away. In response, Armaan steps back in shock, and the garlands fall. Despite Abhira’s determination to do something about the situation, she falls onto the road but quickly gets up and continues running. Distraught, Armaan apologizes to Ruhi and confesses his inability to love her or marry her. This revelation leaves everyone stunned.
Ruhi tearfully reveals her fear that she isn’t loved, only to be met with a loving gaze from the person beside her. Trying not to break her heart, Manish reassures her while she asks about his affection for Armaan. But in a shocking turn of events, Armaan confesses his love for Abhira instead. The rest of the family, including Manisha, Manoj, and the kids, react with surprise and joy as Abhira enters. Armaan explains that he cannot deceive Ruhi by entering into a marriage without true love. This declaration earns him a slap from Manish and a shout from Manoj, but he bravely defends his decision to stop the wedding.
Manish inquires, “What did you say?” Armaan responds, “I love Abhira.” Manish slaps Armaan once again, causing Ruhi to cry. Defiantly, Armaan repeats his declaration of love for Abhira and explains that he finally had the chance to speak the truth after a long time. However, Manish once again slaps him and asks why he suddenly professes his love when he divorces Abhira and agrees to marry Ruhi. Manish reminds Armaan that he advised against the marriage and questions why he went through with it if he didn’t truly love Ruhi.
Armaan insists that Ruhi can trust him completely, but his statement is interrupted by Manish’s rebuke. “You are a major deceiver,” Manish accuses angrily, “I cannot forgive you.” Armaan agrees with his assessment but can only apologize. Ruhi intervenes and reveals that Armaan is her future spouse. Manish persists in holding Armaan accountable, accusing him of continuing to defend him. However, Ruhi assures us that nothing inappropriate transpired and that she will handle the situation herself. She invites Armaan to join her as they walk away, and he declares his love for Abhira.
Ruhi has accused you of breaking your promise to her mother and causing feelings of guilt. You also seem to be feeling confused. Before, you were uncertain about your feelings as you were in love with Abhira. But what about me? You told me I was mature and that being with me would bring peace into your life and make things easier for you. Don’t you still yearn for that peace? He says that a marriage without love is meaningless and that I cannot make you happy. But I assure you, I will love you deeply and passionately. Please do not go through with this decision.
He declares his love for Abhira, but she questions her whereabouts as he stands beside me and promises to always be by my side. While Abhira demands answers as to why she was summoned and why he is dressed in hospital garments, Ruhi reveals that it is their wedding day, and they must marry before the auspicious time runs out. As Madhav explains that someone lent him a phone, I could access yours and Armaan’s…But before he can continue, Abhira falls unconscious. He pleads for her to wake up, while Ruhi sadly acknowledges that although he may not love her, they will still find happiness together.
Manish advises against taking risks with your life. He states that he will speak to the person in question. Manish also shares that he has reached his breaking point with the Poddar family and is cutting ties with them. Dadi interjects, reminding him that Ruhi is like a daughter to them and Armaan’s feelings for her will fade soon. However, Armaan insists on his genuine love for Abhira and refuses to let go. Manish ends the matter there and instructs the baraat to turn back as he angrily scolds the Poddar family.
Suwarna tells Armaan to go while Ruhi pleads with him to stop. Eventually, they all depart from the scene. In distress, Ruhi begins to shout and weep. Concerned, Madhav inquires about the cause of her behavior. The doctor responds that it results from excessive stress and asks if he is also a patient at the facility. Madhav clarified that he is a police officer and that redirecting the questions towards him is more appropriate. Meanwhile, Dadi slaps Armaan and scolds him for humiliating and breaking her down. She sarcastically applauds his actions.
