Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 14th August 2024 Written Update: The episode begins with Ruhi trying to stop Abhira from leaving. However, Manisha intervenes and asks Ruhi to attend the puja instead. Inside, Vidya expresses her heartbreak over Armaan leaving the house, while Dadi angrily says he won’t listen to her anymore. Madhav attempts to calm her, but Dadi insists she never supported Armaan and Abhira’s relationship. She orders Rohit to do the puja with Ruhi. Rohit refuses, saying he will only do it if Dadi agrees to Armaan and Abhira’s marriage. He reminds everyone that Armaan left the house for his love and that Abhira is still here. Dadi dismisses him and asks Kajal and Sanjay to perform the puja instead.
Meanwhile, Armaan reaches the temple and prepares for the wedding. Abhira wonders if the family will ever accept them. She worries about Dadi’s disapproval but decides she cannot abandon Armaan after everything he has sacrificed. She prays for blessings before leaving.
Back at the Poddar house, Ruhi secretly hopes Abhira doesn’t reach Armaan. Just then, Abhira’s chunri flies into the house, landing in Dadi’s hands. Abhira rushes inside to retrieve it and joyfully hugs Dadi, declaring her love. Dadi scolds her, but Abhira remains cheerful, confident Dadi will eventually accept her. She seeks blessings from the family before running out again. Ruhi is visibly annoyed.
At the temple, Armaan is worried and unsure if Abhira will show up. When she calls him, he’s doubtful, but she assures him she’s on the way. Their playful banter continues, and she promises to take a bus if needed. Meanwhile, Manisha excitedly suggests they attend the wedding. Even Sanjay agrees. Vijay, Krish, and Charu try convincing Dadi. Madhav says no one can stop him from attending his son’s wedding. Vidya also joins, and one by one, everyone leaves, leaving Dadi alone.
Ruhi urges Manisha to hurry into the car as they all leave. Dadi recalls Abhira’s words and looks conflicted.
At the temple, Armaan anxiously awaits Abhira and receives a disturbing call. A voice warns him not to touch Abhira. He shouts for her as the call ends and collapses in shock. Vidya and Manisha support him while Madhav assures him nothing will happen to Abhira. Armaan insists on going to find her. Rohit steps in, takes his hand, and says he’ll go with him. The family watches with pride as both brothers leave together.
