The Episode commences with Abhimanyu receiving a call from Akshara. He asks why he isn’t picking up the call, to which Akshara replies that he might have fallen asleep. Abhimanyu apologizes for today’s events and Akshara mentions that Abhir wants to speak to him. Abhir inquires about their fight, but Abhimanyu clarifies that there was no argument. However, Abhir informs them about a class party at school where all parents are required to bring dishes. Akshara offers to make a different dish for the party, but Abhir insists on hearing from Abhimanyu first before deciding. Abhir then suggests that Akshara can make pasta while “docman” can prepare noodles for the party. With goodnight wishes, Abhir ends the call while expressing his disappointment towards their lack of seriousness about the party and requesting them to resolve any issues between them. Finally, Abhimanyu excuses himself as his mother is calling him and hangs up the call.
Akshara remarks that the situation had become quite awkward. Suvarna replies that this was impossible. Dadi urges her to consider it. Manish suggests they should have a conversation with them. Dadi affirms that this decision would bring about an improvement in their children’s lives. Suvarna refuses to discuss it any further. Surekha states that wrong can never become right. Abhimanyu takes Ruhi to school and instructs her to give the tiffin box to Abhir. Ruhi asks him why he is leaving so soon, as he needs to meet Abhir. He clarifies that he has some work and bids her farewell. Ruhi calls out for her Maasi, causing Abhimanyu to turn around and notice Akshara and Abhir’s presence. Abhir embraces Ruhi and declares it as a good luck hug. She questions why someone would hug without any reason, to which Abhir responds by saying siblings often hug each other for no reason at all. However, Akshara interrupts them and urges him to leave for school with his brother. He was excited about the hug yesterday, while I told him we are just friends and everything is good. I couldn’t help but laugh at his comment that we were acting like kids. We then treated ourselves to a chocolate. Reminiscing on our previous fights, he joked that despite being seen as mature by the world, he turns into a child when it comes to me. I reassured him that things were better now and reminded him of Abhir’s upcoming tests for which I helped him prepare. As we parted ways and headed to our cars, he pondered over how happy Akshara seemed and convinced himself to stop overthinking. However, when he tried starting his car, it wouldn’t budge. I asked if he would rather go to the hospital or home. Meanwhile, Manjiri’s family gathered with Manish and Mahima in an awkward silence until Manish spoke up about wanting to discuss Akshara’s relationship with Abhimanyu. The couple appeared just in time to hear this shocking revelation. The rest of the group could only look on in surprise at their unexpected arrival.
Manish states that the conversation is simply an exchange of ideas, not a means of reaching a decision. Akshara disagrees. Anand urges Abhimanyu to carefully consider his thoughts. Abhimanyu rejects the idea. Manish suggests that perhaps destiny is trying to unite them and asks if they would defy it. Akshara acknowledges this but explains that it cannot come to fruition. He demands a logical explanation. She responds that she was married to Abhinav a few months ago, and her feelings for him are still strong, making it impossible for her to fill his void with another person. This reasoning should be sufficient enough. She then walks away while being called out by Manish but does not stop. In contrast, Abhimanyu also disagrees and leaves the situation altogether. Suvarna reminds everyone that both Akshara and Abhimanyu have made up their minds, and it is best to end this discussion here. Dadi intervenes, saying that as elders, it is their responsibility to make decisions for them. Suvarna objects, stating that it is unjust. Dadi insists on knowing what issue Suvarna has with the matter at hand, leading to a heated discussion among them all.
Suvarna inquires about Aarohi and her engagement to Abhimanyu. Anand explains that the engagement did not progress due to Abhi’s focus being on Abhir’s surgery. He adds that their relationship was only a compromise and was never going to move forward. Mahima expresses concern for Ruhi’s feelings, to which Parth suggests not confusing the children with this matter. Anand reassures everyone that even after reuniting with Akshara, Abhimanyu will continue to take care of Ruhi. Surekha reminds them not to disregard Ruhi’s emotions and brings up whether Abhir can replace Abhinav as a father figure for Abhimanyu. Manish argues that it is possible for new relationships to be formed without breaking old ones, citing that Abhimanyu is biologically related to Abhir and they already function as a family together with Akshara. Suvarna worries about hurting someone’s heart, but Manish counters by stating that both Aarohi and Ruhi are aware of the truth and that it is ultimately best for Abhir to have his father in his life.
Mahima asks Manjiri what she desires, to share with everyone. She admits that her previous wish for Abhimanyu and Akshara to unite was misguided, and now she simply wants to see their family come together. She realizes that it is not her place to dictate their decisions and will be content with whatever they choose. Akshara voices her concern about being separated from Abhinav, but Manish intervenes by reminding her that he was a source of happiness in their lives. He urges her to consider Abhir’s well-being and their future. However, Akshara assures him that she is capable of thinking, living and smiling on her own without needing anyone’s support. She insists that their family was complete even without Abhinav’s physical presence, and she is an independent and confident woman.
Suvarna says we will respect your decision. Dadi explains Akshara to me. Akshara refuses and leaves. Suvarna says I told you not to talk about Abhimanyu and Akshara’s relationship. Muskaan asks what. Kairav watches. Abhimanyu sees the kids’ picture. Akshara sees Abhinav’s picture. They hug the pictures.
