In this episode, Abhinav wipes the dust off the Sharma house signboard and is overcome with emotion. Akshara directs Abhir to help her clean while she plays some music in order to finish quickly. Abhinav is mesmerized and Akshara enquires as to what has him troubled. He comments on the state of the house, pointing out how the decorations have been spoiled, the nameplate covered in dust and the vehicles not functioning properly.
Akshara reassures him that things are bound to improve from now on and so does their situation. Abhir jumps in to demand food from his mother, to which she suggests getting Pizza. She assigns Abhinav the task of fetching it while they stay back. Abhinav says they cannot go together as the car is giving trouble leaving them both perplexed.
Abhimanyu recollects Akshara’s accusation. Aarohi stands at the entrance, and Shefali takes the milk from her hand before entering Abhimanyu’s room. He confesses to Shefali that Akshara was right – even though he loved her he failed to respect her. He admits that his ego blinded him previously, when they lost Neil and their children he had his family around but he did not take into account how much pain she must have been in too. Abhimanyu regretfully states that instead of standing by her during this difficult time, he abandoned her when she needed him most. He is ashamed now that he did not see her feelings then and did not realize how selfish he was.
Shefali asks Abhimanyu what he did amid all the mistakes he made. Abhimanyu tells Shefali that he told Abhinav that Akshara belongs to him. He shares he also requested Akshara to return back to him. Abhimanyu says there is no forgiveness for his mistakes. Shefali sits stunned as he asks whether Abhimanyu will be able to escape chakravyuh. Abhimanyu says he regrets his actions and has fallen in his own eyes. He is getting drowned in his own guilt.
Akshara prepares for her law exam while waiting for Abhinav. She searches for Abhinav. She asks why he did not return home. Abhinav tells Akshara that he is not capable of taking on such big responsibilities. Akshara asks him to share his problems.
Abhimanyu tells Aarohi about his meeting with Akshara. He tells her that he told her that he still loves her. And that he asked Akshara to come back to him. He did not think of Roohi at that time. He tells Aarohi that he has hurt many people to date and does not want to repeat his mistakes.
Abhinav asks Akshara why she is so concerned about him. In reply, Akshara says she is bothered by him just because he is her husband. Abhinav says it’s just for the world. He says he is just a husband in the name. And Akshara has made him a husband as a favour. Akshara stands stunned.
Aarohi is stunned as Abhimanyu tells her that he made a mistake by divorcing Akshara, for always asking her to follow his choices. He confesses to Aarohi that he has wronged Akshara. He says there was only ME in the relationship and never US. Abhimanyu says he is so broken now that he will never be able to love anyone else again. He promises to not be selfish with Roohi ever. He promises to give all the respect that Aarohi deserves. He wants to be a better person now. He made the decision of telling her the truth. Now she has to make the decision of accepting him or not. And she should only think of herself when she makes the decision.
Abhinav asks Akshara if she is with him only to return the favour for the last six years that he supported her. He tells her he saw the love she has for Abhimanyu. . He adds that Abhir and Akshara belong to Abhimanyu and no one can change that.
The episode ends with Abhinav telling Akshara that he cannot give her a grand love story
