As the episode begins, Akshara rushes Aarohi to the hospital. Aarohi is told to stay conscious. Abhimanyu says OT is ready. Ruhi shouts and cries. Everyone prays for her. Ruhi says, “Ruhi… take care of her, Akshara.” Akshara says don’t say this, she is strong like you, you will take care of her, you’ll be fine. When Aarohi sees Neil and her picture on her cabin door, she recalls him and falls. Akshara and Abhimanyu are shocked. They cry. Yeh Rishta…plays…
As Manjiri and Manish arrive, the latter comforts Akshara, urging her to remain positive and pray for Aarohi. Ruhi calls out for Aarohi, crying as she promises to be a good girl and begs her to wake up. Abhimanyu embraces Ruhi, who is also overcome with tears. The rest of the family joins in mourning for Aarohi. Kairav expresses his devastation at losing her and wonders how she could leave him behind.
Meanwhile, Akshara sits sobbing at home until Abhimanyu comes to console her. She sobs into his arms, realizing that Aarohi will never return now. Manjiri inquires about the circumstances surrounding Aarohi’s passing. Akshara admits it was due to her oversight – she should have ensured Ruhi got out of the car before releasing the handbrakes.
Taking a look at her, Abhimanyu says Aarohi was hit by her car, and Akshara was driving. Manish says you saw something wrong. Abhimanyu asks what Ruhi is doing at the steering wheel. She says she wasn’t sure; she was stubborn. I scolded and got her out of the car; I didn’t see Aarohi. He says it’s Ruhi’s fault. She says no, I killed my sister. She goes out to everyone. Surekha mentions having seen it, while Manish denies its possibility. Akshara arrives and admits her carelessness had caused Aarohi’s tragic death. This confession shocks everyone, including Ruhi, who watches on. Without properly parking the car or engaging the handbrake, Akshara had unintentionally let it slip down a slope, leading to her sister’s passing. Suwarna quickly questions Akshara’s presence in the car, as she knows that Aarohi is driving. She blames Akshara for causing Aarohi’s death due to her mistake. Suwarna then proceeds to berate Aarohi for constantly receiving less love, support, and happiness than Akshara, and now, not even life itself because of her actions. However, Dadi intervenes, reminding them their pain does not justify blaming the children for their mistakes. She urges them to consider Akshara’s state of losing her sister instead of pointing fingers at her.
Manish expresses his pain, saying that he once again lost his daughter. Dadi sympathetically responds, acknowledging the hurt they both feel. Manish admits that their shortcomings as parents may have contributed to this situation but also blames Akshara for her role in it. Dadi minimizes the mistake, and Manish strongly condemns Akshara and their daughter Ruhi for their actions. He insists that he will never forgive them and leaves. Abhimanyu suggests they should tell Manish and Dadi the truth because they will understand. Akshara objects, stating that revealing the truth means admitting that Ruhi is responsible for her mother’s death, which she believes would be too much for Ruhi to handle. Thus, she feels it is better if Ruhi does not take on this burden to avoid further trauma.
He questions, “Will you be able to handle this burden of blame?” She responds, “You think it’s hard for me, but it’ll be even harder for her. She can never find happiness.” He suggests telling the family, except Ruhi. She pleads, “Promise me no one else will discover this. Ruhi has nobody but you. Please promise me.” He gives his word. Kairav comforts Manish as he signs the hospital documents. Manish becomes emotional and sheds tears. Abhir mentions going to see Ruhi. Manjiri reminds him that Ruhi is resting and advises him to see Shivu instead. Akshara interrupts, “I have prepared some soup for Ruhi.” Surekha interjects, “You don’t need to bother with Ruhi. You’re supposed to stay away from her.” Akshara breaks down in tears.
