Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 21st September 2024 Written Episode begins with Manish asking Abhira to allow him the right to perform her kanyadaan. Abhira replies that it is not something to ask for, as he will surely do her kanyadaan. Manish thanks her and hugs her warmly while Swarna looks on.
Meanwhile, Ruhi leaves in her car, whispering that she is coming for Armaan. Armaan asks Vidya to stop, but she walks away. Dadi makes Armaan eat curd, wards off the evil eye, and consoles him by saying Vidya will come. Madhav tells Armaan it is his big day, and he should stay happy. He assures him that he will speak to Vidya and bring her along. Manisha instructs Shambhu to get the wedding items to the venue, and the family leaves.
At the same time, Rohit wonders why Ruhi has not returned from the parlour. He then receives her message saying she is getting a gift for Armaan and Abhira and will meet them directly at the venue. Rohit sighs, thinking Ruhi is once again avoiding him.
Sanjay mocks Dadi about losing, but Dadi says she cannot be easily defeated. She explains that Vidya’s anger toward Abhira is sharp, and she cannot afford to lose Armaan. She adds that Armaan is important to this family and to Rohit. She says she prays for their future but also hints that Abhira may face a loss today.
Ruhi reaches the temple and argues with Matarani, declaring she will marry Armaan today and nothing can stop her. On the other hand, Madhav tries to convince Vidya to come to the wedding. Vidya refuses, crying that she is only Armaan’s stepmother. She says Armaan has distanced himself from her since choosing Abhira and she no longer feels needed. Madhav tells her to forget her hatred, warning that it will destroy their happiness. He leaves, while Vidya hugs Armaan’s photo and weeps.
Abhira talks to Akshara’s photo, saying Armaan must be on his way. Hearing the sound of the baraat, she sees the procession arriving. Shambhu keeps a close watch on Armaan as the family dances joyfully to “Teri Hui.” Armaan imagines Vidya’s presence and wishes she would come.
Meanwhile, Ruhi makes secret wedding arrangements. At the venue, Manish welcomes Armaan with aarti. Swarna worries about Ruhi’s absence and tries to call her. Manish performs a playful ritual by holding Armaan’s nose, making everyone laugh. Krish calls it cheating, but Manish praises Armaan as the true Dilwala.
As Armaan enters, Abhira admires him, saying he looks very handsome, while she wonders if she looks good too. Somewhere else, Ruhi clicks her own picture, telling herself she looks beautiful and will get married without her family’s support.
Swarna helps Abhira get ready, and Abhira thanks her for everything. Swarna blesses her to live happily with Armaan. At the mandap, the pandit asks Armaan to wash his hands for the ritual. Madhav laments that Vidya has still not come despite his efforts, but Manoj remains hopeful that her love will bring her there.
Vidya clings to Armaan’s picture, crying over her dilemma. Meanwhile, Armaan jokingly talks with Krish, who warns him that Manish might steal his shoes. Armaan laughs, agrees, and hands over his shoes before washing his hands again. His mind continues to drift to Vidya.
Soon, the family announces the arrival of the bride. Shambhu stops Armaan, and Abhira finally walks in, leaving everyone smiling. The song Yeh Rishta plays as she enters, and emotions fill the hall.
Precap: Ruhi declares that Armaan will marry her today, leaving Armaan shocked. Sanjay announces that Armaan has left the marriage, but Abhira insists that he will come.
