The episode begins with Abhira scolding Armaan, but Rohit intervenes and urges him to reconsider his decision. “Please don’t cancel the honeymoon plan,” he pleads, emphasizing the importance of making their marriage work. While this conversation continues, Ruhi accidentally drops a spoon and catches their attention. Armaan then asks Rohit to take care of her while he feeds her. The cousins gather to discuss how they can lift everyone’s spirits and decide to throw a Christmas party. Aryan adds some humor by joking about not finding a last-minute Santa. Just then, Rohit appears wearing a red cap and joins in the laughter as they all embrace each other. Little does anyone know that Rohit has a special plan to make Ruhi smile today.
In shock, the family sees the Christmas decorations. Rohit becomes Santa. Abhira sees them and says everyone is celebrating Christmas, if mumma had been there, we would have too, I’m scared to go out, don’t cry, I have to celebrate it alone. On Shaam Shakaar, Rohit dances with everyone…. Plays…. Everyone claps.
Aryan reassures you that nobody recognizes you. Rohit interjects, telling Aryan to hush and let’s leave. He proceeds to dance with Ruhi, kissing her and wishing her eternal happiness. After embracing Armaan, he inquires about his wife’s whereabouts and affectionately calls him “my son.” Meanwhile, Abhira is occupied with making Christmas socks and expresses her loneliness within this family. She becomes emotional while talking to Akshara. Rohit extends Christmas wishes to Vidya, who playfully pulls his ear and calls him out for trying to deceive her. Playfully, he asks for a break before acknowledging that this is an effort to make Ruhi smile. Kiara clarifies that Ruhi is unavailable. Abhira hopes to meet Armaan and prays for things to return to how they were before. Ruhi voices her disappointment in not being approached by Armaan earlier. Realizing his mistake, Armaan apologizes and assures Rohit that he will take care of her. As Abhira goes outside to fetch a candle, Armaan bids farewell with a reminder of her well-being but finds his hand held by Ruhi.
Abhira says I wish I wouldn’t collide with anyone now. Armaan tells Ruhi not to forget she is Rohit’s wife now and to keep the relationship going. She asks about your promise. He says I can break, but my brother’s heart can’t break; I promise I will deal with it. Ruhi argues with him. He asks her to accept the truth and move on.
Ruhi inquires, “Will you find happiness then?” He assures her, “Seeing you and Rohit happy will bring me joy.” She expresses her love for Armaan and acknowledges the difficulty of forgetting love. He reminds her that she has to let go of him, just like he has moved on. She questions if he has genuinely forgotten her, to which he responds affirmatively. He insists on moving on for the betterment of everyone. Ruhi sheds tears as Rohit watches in shock. She leaves while the song “Jo humsafar” plays in the background. Devastated, he falls to the ground and sobs. Abhira comes to console him while Rohit confesses that Ruhi and Armaan have destroyed their lives. He plans to share something with her about Armaan but gets interrupted when Kiara and Aryan arrive to take him away. Abhira announces that she is sleepy and suggests they all go and party together.
As Dadi feeds Rohit the cake, he says I need to share something with you. She says yes, we will talk. Armaan enters his room to find Abhira. He says she’s gone again. He sees the Christmas stockings in the window. Abhira enters with the candle. He asks why you left. Armaan says don’t leave the room, okay. She sees the stockings and says he doesn’t like my Christmas celebrations.
