Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 27th August 2024 Written Episode begins with Kaveri thinking about what gifts to give the guests. She asks Vidya about the decoration arrangements. Manisha says that the guests will always remember Abhira and Arman’s wedding. Kaveri insists that she does not want anyone talking about Abhira’s background. Arman defends Abhira, but Kaveri says they know nothing about her family. Vidya supports Kaveri, and Kaveri then asks Manoj and Madhav to finalise the catering.
Ruhi asks Abhira about her parents, and Abhira writes Akshara and Abhinav’s names. Aryan teases Arman after he calls out to Abhira. Abhira requests Kaveri to have a simple wedding instead of a grand celebration. She wants to celebrate her big day with her family and asks Kaveri to stop planning a lavish wedding. Kaveri becomes emotional, and Abhira asks her the reason for her tears. Vidya blames Abhira for hurting Kaveri’s feelings.
Abhira questions Kaveri about why she is upset. Kaveri explains her long-held wish of planning Arman’s wedding and says that if everyone thought like Abhira, wedding planners would lose their livelihood. She asks Abhira to understand her emotions but agrees to drop the grand plan if Abhira prefers a simple wedding. Vidya tells Abhira to understand the family’s emotions. Sanjay says Abhira is thinking only about herself and decides to invite relatives who had earlier called them to their own functions. Rohit supports Kaveri’s views, while Vidya advises Abhira not to worry about money. Kajal adds that Abhira is family and should not be concerned about expenses.
Abhira comes up with the idea to organise one function herself to contribute to the wedding. Kaveri asks if she has the funds for it. Abhira is confused, and Sanjay remarks that she cannot afford it. Sanjay again asks Abhira if she has enough money to plan the event. Vidya agrees with Sanjay’s point. Determined, Abhira decides to take a loan to fund the function. Vidya disapproves of this, but Kaveri supports Abhira’s decision.
Arman worries about her and accompanies Abhira to the bank. Kaveri tells Arman to let Abhira manage on her own. Abhira feels happy, thinking Kaveri is on her side. She decides to dedicate her wedding function to Akshara’s memory.
