The episode opens with Abhira suggesting a change of location. Madhav, however, opposes the idea and expresses his contentment with their current house. Abhira then suggests replacing the furniture, stating that it is not their responsibility to deal with someone else’s belongings. Madhav reminds her that Shivani is Armaan’s biological mother, not a stranger. This triggers Abhira’s memory of the elderly woman’s remarks. Dadi performs the religious ritual of aarti while Vidya remembers Madhav’s earlier statement.
Dadi puts sindoor on Kajal and Manisha before turning to Vidya. However, Vidya interrupts her and expresses her desire for a real marriage rather than just the symbol of it. The rest of the family observes the exchange with curiosity. Meanwhile, Krish and others lead the guests to sample some kachoris. Dadi then shares her concerns about Madhav not returning home, asking for advice on what to do. Through tears, Vidya pleads with Dadi to bring him back, to which Dadi responds that they will discuss it once the guests have left.
Vidya assures me that only Madhav will adorn my maang with sindoor. After she leaves, Abhira remarks that this is the home of Armaan’s mother, of which he is unaware. Madhav expresses concern that Armaan may feel he is betraying Vidya by being here, and I share the same worry. I remind him that he is a father and a husband who loves Vidya dearly. He clarifies that Vidya doesn’t believe it, despite him not selling this house since it holds sentimental value as Armaan’s birthplace. Vidya became upset upon seeing a photo of Shivani, but she never saw her picture in this house.
Abhira insists on demonstrating to her that no woman wants to be someone’s second choice. She encourages you to make her feel like the most significant person in your life, just as you have been and should be in the future. Abhira believes that our family is falling apart by staying in Armaan’s mom’s house and getting involved in trying to improve Madhav and Vidya’s relationship. Manoj urges you to take action, while Dadi blames Abhira for the current issues and refuses to get Madhav because of her presence there.
Armaan raised his voice, urging for a solution to our parents’ quarrels, but the same issue has resurfaced. Meanwhile, Ruhi presents the beautifully decorated swing. Inquisitive about the sudden setup, Manish asks for an explanation. A grinning Ruhi reminds him of Sawan swing tradition on this auspicious day. Delighted by her thoughtfulness, they commend her efforts. Ruhi then suggests getting ready together and informs Surekha of inviting someone over. However, she immediately retracts and proposes that we four are sufficient for each other’s company, mentioning how welcoming others into our lives had led to losing our happiness. As Madhav gazes at the drawing, Armaan approaches and calls out, “Papa.” Receiving no response, Madhav sets aside the drawing. Armaan then explains he has come to take him back home. Meanwhile, Abhira silently observes. The atmosphere becomes tense as Madhav and Armaan engage in a heated discussion. Frustrated, Armaan expresses that he is tired of being blamed for their relationship issues and that it is time for Madhav to take responsibility. He longs to see his parents happy once again. However, Madhav contemplates the situation and realizes that if he returns home, Abhira will leave the city, and they will never have a chance to be happy together. Thus, he sadly concludes that returning home is not an option for him.
Armaan reminds you of your promise to apply sindoor on Vidya, and the time has come to fulfill it. Maa has specifically requested that you be the one to apply sindoor on her. Ultimately, the decision is yours. As he turns around, he notices Abhira and sees that the swing has been removed. Without saying anything else, he leaves. Meanwhile, Abhira begins packing a bag. Seeing this, Madhav asks what she’s doing. She replies that she’s packing his things so he can return home without any problems arising in his marriage. She expresses her gratitude for his support and acknowledges that he does while she may not have any family.
He affirms that you are my family, while she asserts that Vidya, your life partner, adores you deeply and awaits your return. In today’s world, patience and loyalty seem hard to come by. He insists on staying, refusing to leave. She worries about the potential consequences and urges him to go home. However, he stands his ground because he knows it would be difficult for her to face Armaan and the rest of the family, who have betrayed her trust and broken her heart. As a father, he will remain by her side here. Kajal offers comfort to Vidya in this challenging situation, but Vidya is determined not to emerge from this room until Madhav is safely returned. Dadi watches their conversation with concern.
Vidya informs the guests that Madhav is not present and she cannot answer their queries. She insists on waiting until he returns home. Meanwhile, Manish performs the ritual of applying sindoor to Suwarna’s hairline. As Suwarna does his aarti, Ruhi remembers Armaan. They then make her sit on a swing, and Ruhi points out that married girls usually perform this ritual. However, Manish jokingly questions this tradition and playfully teases Ruhi. Madhav suggests they have some hot kachoris but accidentally burns them slightly. Despite this, Abhira tastes one and coughs, prompting Madhav to give her some water and pat her back. She assures him it’s perfect, and he also tries it himself. Teasingly, he comments that he thought she was sensible but now realizes otherwise based on her reaction to the kachori’s slight burn.
Abhira pleads, “Please return home, my situation has improved.” Madhav reassures her, “Your family is here to stand by you. I even made Rasmalai for you.” He heads to fetch it. As Abhira gazes at Vidya’s photo, memories of Dadi’s words flood her. Suddenly, Charu calls her. On the video call, Abhira sees Vidya, and they both cry. Meanwhile, Madhav arrives with the Rasmalai and spots Vidya on the call. Charu urgently requests Abhira to return Madhav as their relationship is falling apart. Without a word, Madhav leaves.
The guests expressed their impatience and decided to depart. Soon after, Armaan arrived at his house while Vidya went downstairs. Seeing that Madhav was not present, Dadi inquired about his whereabouts. Armaan informed her that he had declined to come. This news brought Vidya to tears, as Manoj remarked that Madhav should have joined them. Kajal added that he seemed to have forgotten them because of Abhira. Sanjay also chimed in, disapproving of Madhav’s actions.
