Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 29th September 2024 Written Episode begins with Ruhi telling Abhira that she is glad she did not leave the house. Manish calls and asks about Abhira. Ruhi is about to speak, but Abhira stops her from revealing anything. Ruhi tells Manish everything is fine, explaining they were busy with rasams. Abhira greets Manish and assures him not to worry. Relieved, he blesses them. After the call, Abhira thanks Ruhi for hiding the truth. Manish tells Swarna that his promise to Akshu and Aarohi will soon be fulfilled, as he only wishes for Ruhi’s happiness.
Meanwhile, Sanjay complains that he tried convincing Maasa but she still stopped Abhira and Armaan. Kajal argues with him until Ruhi steps in and tells him not to provoke further issues. Sanjay taunts Ruhi for her change of behaviour, but she replies that she has learnt from her mistakes.
Ruhi later recalls Armaan’s words while looking at his photos. Emotional, she admits her stubbornness hurt Armaan, Rohit, and both families. She decides to burn her past along with his pictures, vowing to move on and find happiness. She cries but promises herself not to look back again.
Elsewhere, Abhira takes dinner for Armaan, who is asleep. She quietly makes him comfortable and then lies down without eating. In another room, Ruhi slips and falls. Rohit rushes to help and jokes that maybe she has been eating too many sweets, causing the couch to break. Ruhi insists she will sleep in the guest room, but Rohit reminds her this is her room too. He holds her hand, asking her to stay if she is comfortable.
The next morning, Abhira sweetly kisses Armaan to wake him. He shouts in his sleep, calling out for his mother, and wakes up startled. Abhira gently tells him she is getting ready for her first rasoi rasam. She senses his pain and asks him to share his worries, but Armaan remains silent.
Meanwhile, Ruhi brings tea for Rohit and asks about his lunch preferences. She even picks out suits for him and suggests taking Vidya shopping while getting shirts for him too. Rohit notices her sudden change and asks why. Ruhi hides her emotions, but Rohit hugs her happily, glad to see his old Ruhi back.
Later, Abhira asks Armaan for the engagement ring before leaving for the rasam. She slips, and he catches her in the shower, leading to an intimate moment. Just as he leans closer, he recalls Vidya’s curse and pulls away, asking her to leave quickly. Abhira reminds him that sharing pain can lighten the burden, but he avoids the conversation.
Abhira prepares kheer for the rasam with Manisha’s help. Everyone enjoys it, but when Abhira offers it to Vidya, she throws the spoon away and ignores her. Armaan feels upset watching this. Madhav, however, appreciates Abhira’s efforts and gives her shagun, followed by others.
Dadi then surprises Abhira by offering her a job in the Poddar firm. Abhira is shocked, while Armaan reads the letter. Sanjay protests that Dadi is breaking her own rules, but Dadi insists only she has the right to do so. She explains that this way, Abhira and Armaan can spend more time together, leaving the decision up to Abhira.
Precap: Abhira worries that Vidya will be upset if she accepts the job. Vidya questions Dadi about the decision, but Dadi says she wants Armaan to stand by the family.
