The episode begins with Vidya calling Armaan and asking him to select a kalgi design for the wedding. Armaan, busy with a client, tells her he will call later. Disappointed, Vidya then calls Abhira and asks her to choose a maang tika. Abhira, equally occupied with a hearing, tells her she will discuss it in the evening. Awasthi, irritated by the interruptions, taunts Abhira about her focus on the case. Despite explaining, Vidya continues to press Abhira, leaving her upset.
When Ruhi visits Abhira, she scolds her for upsetting Vidya and offers to explain to her on Abhira’s behalf. At that moment, a woman named Kirti Singh arrives, requesting a marriage contract for her son. She wants to ensure that if her daughter-in-law leaves, she cannot claim any rights or compensation. Shocked, Abhira bluntly rejects her, saying such thinking is wrong and no woman should be stripped of her rights. Ruhi observes silently as Abhira struggles with her financial worries.
Meanwhile, Vidya continues her puja while Manisha, Kajal, and Armaan try to console her. She angrily points out that even puja is work and should not be disturbed, just like Abhira’s work is important to her. Armaan defends Abhira, explaining that her career is her worship too.
Later, Abhira feels dejected about hurting Vidya. Armaan joins her, giving her emotional support. They discuss the unfair way society treats a son’s career as a priority while dismissing a bahu’s career as a hobby. Abhira recalls the rejected client who viewed her future daughter-in-law as a gold digger. Armaan praises her for standing her ground, making her feel proud despite the challenges.
Elsewhere, Ruhi brings coffee to Sanjay. He accidentally receives Abhira and Armaan’s marriage contract papers and grows suspicious, calling Abhira a gold digger. He discusses it with Dadi, who firmly says that marriage is based on love, not contracts. However, Sanjay warns that they should protect the family’s wealth.
In the precap, Dadi shocks Abhira by presenting a bond demanding she stop working for a year and conceive immediately. Abhira angrily refuses, challenging the unfair condition.
