Abhinav is in a state of shock and refuses to eat anything. Akshara is standing next to him while he is cleaning the car and notices a file in the back seat of the car. She picks up the file and is shocked to see the contents.
Abhinav remembers the doctor telling him that Abhir has a hole in his heart. Because of his age chances of survival after surgery is almost nil. The doctor says Abhir does not have much time now.
Akshara remembers all the precious moments she spent with Abhir right from the time they brought him home from the hospital when he was born. She tells Abhnav that this is not possible and the doctor’s reports are a lie. Just then Abhir comes into the room and both Abhinav and Akshara pretend to be normal. Abhir asks them about his reports. Abhinav takes a packet of chips and burns it. Abhinav tells Abhir that he has a stomach infection and cannot eat anything from outside. Abhinav says he will burn everything that will affect Abhir’s health. Abhir runs outside to tell Neela Amma that he is okay but Abhinav stops him and tells him to walk slowly and not run because of his stomach infection.
Akshara blames herself for everything that has happened to Abhir. She says Kanhaji is punishing her because she is a bad mother and has hurt someone. Abhinav explains to her that whatever she has done it was for her son. A mother can never be wrong. We will do our best for our son. He convinces Akshara that nothing will happen to Abhir. Fate has brought Akshara and Abhir into his life and they will remain with him forever. He tells Akshara that she is Abhir’s good luck charm. We have got to know what his problem is and we will get him treated. He assures her that nothing will happen to Abhir when she reminds him of the reports. He says for Abhir’s sake they cannot lose hope and fight all our fears. We cannot give up.
Roohi assures Akshara she will handle all the wedding preparations and that they don’t need a separate wedding planner. The Goenka discuss the menu and all wedding plans. Shefali tells everyone she will take care of the wedding plans. She says if she gets busy with the wedding plans she will hardly have time to think of anything else. Abhimanyu reminds her that it’s time for her to get back to work. He tells her that journalism is her passion and is part of her character. She has been thinking of the family and not thinking of herself. If she starts thinking about her work then thinking about other things will be easy for her. Shefali is doubtful if she can get back to work after such a long time. Aarohi assures her that Abhimanyu is right. Initially, it will take time but she is very good at her work. She has managed her work, son and family before so it will not be difficult. Manjiri tells her that she is happiest when she is working. Anand also encourages her to start working. Shefali agrees to start work.
Muskaan is surprised when Neela tells her that Abhir has a stomach infection. She speaks to Akshara. She informs Akshara that Abhimanyu and Aarohi’s wedding date has been fixed and preparations are on. Abhir wants to play football and Abhinav tries making excuses not to play. Abhir is upset and sits with a grumpy face.
Abhinav puts on the music and dances to the song Main koi aisa geet gau…..Akshara, Abhinav and Neela try to distract him with a puzzle game. During the game, Akshara says she does not want to play and is about to get up. Abhir reminds her that she had said that no matter how tough a puzzle is if we try it we can solve any puzzle. Akshara tells him that if the family is together we can solve all puzzles. Abhinav says that how much ever pieces are there in this puzzle we will put it together. Abhir is not able to find the last piece of the puzzle. Akshara finds it for him. Abhir remembers that he had not told his Docman that he has a stomach infection.
Abhinav and Akshara visit the doctor. The doctor advises them to go for surgery. He says there is little chance of recovery with the surgery but if there is any chance then it’s only surgery. The doctor gives them a list of ten top surgeons along with their profiles. He asks them to go through the list. He says the decision is difficult but they have to think of the urgency and not get emotional. It would be better if they make a quick decision and after they decide then the other formalities can be done with.
Akshara and Abhinav cannot think of surgery for Abhir. Akshara says she cannot see him with a slight bruise and now he has to undergo surgery. She thinks of the pain he has to undergo with stitches and post-surgery pain. Abhinav says he cannot see Abhir in pain. Akshara tells him they have to be strong for the sake of their child as the doctor said there is no other option other than surgery. If we try we can solve the puzzle. After all, it’s a matter of their son’s life. If we are scared what will happen to our child? Akshara asks Abhinav to open the list of doctors. Abhinav opens the list and says he will not understand anything of this. He can only read the names. Suddenly he sees Dr Abhimanyu Birla’s name also mentioned in the list. Abhinav says Abhimanyu’s name is there. Now nothing can happen to Abhir. He is sure Abhimanyu will not let anything happen to Abhir. Abhinav takes out his phone to call Abhimanyu. Akshara takes the phone from him. She says we cannot tell Abhimanyu anything. Akshara says we can go to another doctor. Abhinav tries to convince her that Abhimanyu will not let anything happen to Abhir. He is the best doctor. Akshara says she does not want to go to Udaipur again. Abhinav says its not about her and Abhimanyu. It’s about Abhir. Akshara replies that she knows Abhimanyu well. the same problems will start. Same ego. The same taunts will start. She refuses to go to Udaipur. Abhinav says not even for Abhir’s sake?
