Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 31st October 2024 Written Episode Update opens with Abhira and Armaan discussing how parents shape their children. Abhira says their child will grow up to be a good human first and reminds Armaan that he will soon take on many new responsibilities.

At the restaurant, Aryan overhears Manoj talking on the phone and later sees him crying alone. Meanwhile, Neeraj apologises to Charu in front of Sanjay. Sanjay says Mala wanted Charu to apologise, but Neeraj has instead come to say sorry to her. He tells Charu that every couple fights and Neeraj is ready to make things right. Neeraj pretends to be loving and promises he will shower Charu with affection until she trusts him and agrees to marry him. He leaves acting innocent.

Sanjay tells Charu she will not find a better man than Neeraj and claims that the family is jealous of his progress. He tells her to think about their family, Krish’s future and their reputation.

Manoj returns home. Manisha informs him about everything and tells him Sanjay still wants Charu to marry Neeraj. Manoj is shocked. Aryan also arrives, and Manisha asks where he has been.

At home, Armaan tends to Abhira while she sleeps. The next morning, Manoj says he never expected things to reach this point. Dadi says Sanjay is refusing to understand. Madhav promises to speak to him. As Armaan and Abhira join the family, Rohit offers tea to Abhira. She feels queasy, and Armaan explains she is allergic to dairy products.

Abhira notices something in her hand and realises it is Charu and Neeraj’s wedding invitation. Armaan reads it aloud and sees the wedding is scheduled for today. The entire family rushes out, shocked.

At the same time, Ruhi tells Charu that she cannot attend the wedding because she has urgent work. She secretly goes to Abhira’s room and finds the sonography report. Ruhi is stunned and begins crying. She says Abhira should not have become a mother and claims Abhira is being punished for Akshara’s deeds. She breaks the picture and wonders why Abhira hid the pregnancy.

At the wedding venue, Sanjay thanks Sajjan for accepting Charu into their family. Neeraj proudly says he loves Charu. Kajal brings Charu out. Just then, Armaan, Abhira and the entire family arrive to stop the marriage.

Abhira announces that this wedding will not happen. She and Sanjay get into a heated argument. Sanjay complains that Dadi always treats him as an outsider and tells Abhira that no matter what she does, the Poddar family will never accept her. He advises her to think about her own future instead.

Dadi feels insulted and says she will not stay there any longer. Kajal cries helplessly. Dadi walks away. Abhira follows her and brings her medicines. She tells Dadi that her anger should be directed at the right person. Abhira reminds her of old times and says she always believed Dadi made all the decisions in the Poddar house. Dadi tells her not to speak too much. She says no one needs her anymore and asks what she should do in such a situation.

Abhira tells her she is running away from the battlefield and says it is her mistake for expecting strength from Dadi. She asks the driver to take Dadi home.
