The Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 3rd December 2025 Written Update begins with Abhira thinking about her dream of Maira repeating the number 5000. She wonders what this number means and feels worried about Kaveri and Vidya constantly fighting. She asks herself how she will ever reunite her family.
The doorbell rings and Abhira rushes to open the door. While doing so, the money on the table falls to the ground. She finds Abhir at the door with a parcel from Manish. Abhira asks why Manish did not come himself. Abhir tells her not to worry and casually mentions that she can come with him to Japan. Abhira is surprised and asks if he is going back and why he is saying this suddenly. Abhir tells her he is only leaving for a few days to meet family. He repeats that Manish said the parcel should be opened privately and leaves. Abhira feels something is not right and decides she will soon find out what Abhir is hiding.
She opens the parcel and finds a family tree frame. Seeing spaces for family photos, she becomes emotional and hugs it tightly. She reads Manish’s letter, which explains that the legacy started by Akshara and continued by Naira and Akshu has reached its 5000th milestone. He writes that 4999 milestones are complete and now she must complete the 5000th. He tells her to place a united family photo and pass the legacy on to Maira.
Abhira breaks down and says she has no complete family and cannot put a family photo because everyone is separated. She cries, asking Akshara, Naira, and Aksh to help her and decides she will not allow this legacy to end. She vows to bring her family together again.
At the Poddar house, Armaan sees a balloon with 5000 written on it. Maira tells him it was supposed to be for her school’s 50th celebration but the shopkeeper wrote 5000 by mistake. She asks why everyone looks unhappy if Armaan has already stopped the partition. Everyone suddenly receives a message from Abhira. Armaan and Kaveri rush to check what she has done. The family is shocked to see decorations and the family tree. They ask Armaan where Abhira is and what she meant by saying she is giving away everything.
Abhira arrives and Armaan hugs her with concern. She says she is not fine. She talks about her family legacy and how it is breaking. She explains the meaning of the 4999 milestones and says she cannot complete the 5000th because her family is not united. She says she wants a family photo for the tree and asks everyone to unite for just one day. She wants Maira to inherit a united family and not a broken one.
Vidya and Kaveri refuse to cooperate. Kaveri says she knows Abhira is trying to bring them together but it will never happen. She says their story has already ended. Krish tells Abhira that the legacy is not her responsibility, and Tanya agrees. Sanjay tells her to stop trying. They all feel that a united Poddar family can never happen again.
Armaan supports Abhira and reminds everyone that she followed all Poddar traditions with love. He asks why they cannot follow one tradition for her. Abhira then tells everyone to consider it as a farewell celebration for her family legacy. Kaveri finally agrees, saying she has only one hour to give and Abhira can do what she wants. Abhira becomes hopeful and asks everyone to get ready. She thanks Armaan and tells him this will not be the last celebration of their family.
Abhira then introduces the family to her legacy. She starts with Akshara and Naitik’s story and reads Akshara’s message in front of everyone, hoping it will remind them of love, unity, and family values.
