Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 5th December 2025 Written Update begins on an emotional note with Abhira hugging Armaan. She breaks down while talking about the ongoing conflict between Kaveri and Vidya and her fear of failing to carry forward her late mother’s legacy. Armaan gently asks her to return home, trying to comfort her. Just then, Abhira hears Maira calling out and rushes to check on her.
Maira surprises Abhira with exciting news. Abhira is overjoyed and asks if Kaveri is truly returning to the Poddar house. Kaveri confirms her decision, saying she could never shatter Abhira’s dreams. Abhira thanks her for stepping in and saving the family traditions from being destroyed. Kaveri also expresses her gratitude, acknowledging that Abhira saved the family from falling apart.
However, Kaveri clearly states that she is returning only because of Armaan, Abhira, and Maira. She makes it clear that her anger has not ended. When Abhira requests her to forgive Vidya, Kaveri warns her sternly that if she is forced, she will leave immediately for a world tour. She then tells Abhira that her mother, grandmother, and great grandmother would be proud of her strength today. Maira excitedly suggests taking a family tree photograph, and everyone happily clicks pictures together.
Maira opens a cake box, and Armaan notices the number 5000 written on it. He mentions that he has been seeing the number 5000 everywhere since morning, even on the balloons Maira brought. Abhira shares that she also dreamt about the same number. The couple cuts the cake and feeds each other, sharing a joyful moment.
Abhira writes heartfelt messages on the family tree, telling Maira that she can read them when she grows up because one day this family tree will belong to her. Armaan agrees, adding that Maira will keep the family united just like her mother. The family dances together, and Armaan and Abhira also perform, creating a warm and celebratory atmosphere.
Kaveri finally enters the Poddar house. Vidya thinks to herself that she only complained because she never wanted Kaveri to leave. She silently thanks God for bringing her back. Maira performs Kaveri’s aarti with Armaan’s help, leaving Kaveri emotional. Everyone looks delighted as Kaveri holds Maira’s hand, Armaan holds Abhira’s hand, and they all step inside together.
Vidya offers Kaveri her medicine and requests her to take it before going to her room. Kaveri ignores her completely. Vidya feels deeply hurt, and Abhira becomes anxious. Armaan reassures Abhira, saying Kaveri needs time and that things will improve once Vidya apologises sincerely.
The next morning, Maira screams Abhira’s name, causing panic. Abhira rushes to her room, only to find Maira excitedly showing her assignment results. Maira scored an A when Armaan helped her and a D minus when Abhira helped. A worried Abhira tries praising her and begs her not to tell Armaan, fearing he will make fun of her. Maira adorably blackmails Abhira, saying she will stay quiet if Abhira also promises not to complain about her next mistake. Abhira agrees, and Maira runs off happily.
As Abhira bends down to pick up Maira’s toy, she notices a pregnancy test kit showing a positive result. She is shocked and starts wondering who in the house could be pregnant. At the same time, Armaan searches for his cards and checks Abhira’s purse. He finds medicines that Abhira had taken during her previous pregnancy and begins suspecting that she might be pregnant again.
When Abhira enters holding her stomach, Armaan assumes she is hiding her pregnancy from him. However, Abhira is preoccupied with finding out who the real pregnant woman is. Armaan confronts her, but Abhira misunderstands, thinking he is talking about Maira’s grades. She tells him she has already handled the situation.
Armaan directly asks if she is pregnant. A shocked Abhira firmly denies it and shows him the positive pregnancy kit, explaining that someone else in the house is expecting. They begin suspecting Tanya. Kajal tells Manisha that Tanya had been trying to conceive but was unsuccessful. Armaan and Abhira start wondering who could be pregnant if not Tanya.
Manisha taunts Kajal, saying the family environment is not stable enough for a baby right now. Manish adds that Tanya is too young to worry and mentions that even women their age conceive nowadays. Kajal jokingly asks Manisha if she herself is pregnant. Manisha playfully replies that even if she were, it would bring positivity to the family since a baby spreads happiness.
Armaan and Abhira overhear this conversation and are left stunned, assuming that Manisha might be pregnant.
