The episode begins with Abhir gazing at a photo in which he envisions himself performing the traditional Hindu ritual of aarti to welcome his brother Abhimanyu, sister-in-law Akshara, and their newborn baby into their home. After handing the baby to Abhir for a photograph, Abhimanyu and Akshara settle down to work while Abhir takes charge of babysitting duties. The sight of the baby brings smiles to everyone’s faces until Abhir’s daydream is cut short. As they put him to bed, Akshara and Abhimanyu think fondly of their younger brother and reflect on Aarohi’s untimely passing. They are determined to keep both babies happy and ensure that their marriage never comes between them, echoing the sentiments previously expressed by Manjiri and Abhimanyu himself.
In the morning, both Abhimanyu and Akshara get ready for the day. Akshara mentioned that she had already called the pandit and assured us he would arrive on time. She then asks if Abhimanyu remembered to pick up the garlands, to which he responds by saying he has some other tasks to take care of first before picking up Abhir. He starts searching for the car keys, but Akshara hands them to him. As they are about to leave, Abhimanyu realizes he forgot the garlands. Akshara suggests that she will meet him at their destination with Abhir and the varmala (flower garland used in Indian weddings), as it is considered bad luck for the bride and groom to see each other before the marriage ceremony. However, Abhimanyu dismisses this tradition as they all live in the same house and are just preparing for the wedding together. He then asks if he can take a picture of Akshara before they leave but hesitates because something is holding him back. Akshara reminds him that they need to go or they will have to explain themselves to Abhir. They say their goodbyes, and Abhimanyu leaves.
Abhimanyu picks up Abhir from school, and they head home. Curious to know why his father was dressed in fancy clothes, Abhir asks him about the occasion. With a mischievous grin, Abhimanyu suggests it’s a special surprise and tells him to look ahead. Sure enough, Abhir spots their elaborately decorated car and excitedly exclaims how beautiful it looks. He then remembers the day he had been eagerly waiting for – his parents’ wedding ceremony today. Without wasting any time, Abhimanyu confirms his son’s guess. Grateful and filled with love, Abhir thanks his father and expresses his affection for him.
Meanwhile, Akshara leaves her house feeling anxious. She arrives at the temple and hands the shagun plate to the pandit, informing him that her family will soon come. However, he questions her about their absence.
She is delighted to see her entire family. She hugged Kairav and Muskaan and said you all came. She says yes, it’s your wedding. She hugs Dadi. Dadi says we’re your family. She hugs Surekha. Surekha wishes her happiness. She hugs Akshara and apologizes. She sees Manish and goes to hug him. Her dream ends. She looks around. Pandit ji, my family is the husband and son I would have.
He says call them fast, the weather is getting bad. Abhir says finally, I’ll have a typical family. Akshara calls. Akshara asks them to hurry up. Abhimanyu says don’t stress out, we’ll be here in 15 minutes. He asks if you’re okay. She says yes, come soon. Abhir says I love you, Dadda loves you. Abhimanyu says yes, I mean… She smiles. Abhimanyu asks why you said that. Abhir says I just said, don’t you love her? Akshara waits for them. Abhir says I’m too. Akshara waits for them as well.
Pandit inquired if they were traveling through that route as a landslide had occurred there. Shocked, she quickly ran away from the scene. Grasping a Mata chunri, she exited the temple. Manjiri earnestly prayed to Kanha ji for Abhimanyu, acknowledging her defeat and accepting Akshara as his partner. She pleaded for their safety and well-being. As the diya flickered out, she was taken aback.
Meanwhile, Akshara arrives at the hospital and witnesses the chaotic aftermath of the landslide, with injured people and a large crowd gathered. Her eyes fall on a man’s bloody hand, and her heart races with worry. The nurse inquires if she knows him, but Akshara denies it, hoping he is not Abhimanyu. However, upon seeing someone else, her fears are confirmed.
Akshara inquires about Abhir and Abhimanyu with the nurse. The nurse informs her of many casualties and suggests checking the deceased list. Akshara scans the list with hope, relieved not to see their names. However, as she glances at another list, she is distressed to find their names listed. Sitting down with tears in her eyes, Akshara holds onto the list. Suddenly, Abhimanyu and Abhir appear before her. Abhimanyu, reminding her of his love for her even beyond death, disappears along with Abhir as Akshara sobs uncontrollably.
