Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hain 5th September 2023 Written Episode Update on worldofentertainment.in
The Episode begins with Abhir and Ruhi fast asleep, while Manjiri attends to them. After some time, they all engage in casual conversation. Akshara watches them with a smile on her face, and then decides to fetch a plate. However, the lady offers to take the plate instead and asks Akshara to set up the mattresses. Meanwhile, Manish and Kairav observe quietly. Abhimanyu expresses his concern for Akshara’s safety, but before he can say anything else, Shefali arrives and jokes around. She notices his distressed expression and playfully asks why he fought with Akshara this time. He is taken aback by her accurate guess and she apologises for blurting it out without thinking. He admits that something similar happened with him as well when he mentioned an incident from six years ago to Akshara earlier.
The lady tells Akshara that she should not participate in the puja due to her recent widowhood. Manish reprimands them for their narrow-minded thinking. The others agree and try to stop Akshara from taking part, but she refuses to accept their reasoning. She argues that there is no mention in any religious texts about widows being prohibited from performing pujas, and declares that she will not attend any event where such beliefs are enforced.
Akshara emphasizes that it is wrong to view a wife as having no identity after her husband’s death, and that it is also wrong to restrict a woman’s freedom. She believes in standing up for what is right. The man sarcastically tells her not to preach, while the lady acknowledges that she may not have the same legal knowledge as them, but understands the societal norms that she must abide by. Akshara questions why these rules do not apply to men as well and reminds the women that they often support such unfair treatment. As a widow, she may have lost her husband, but she is still alive and will continue to live for her son and family. She firmly believes that those who have wronged her must face their consequences and refuses to let them influence her puja. So instead, she decides to take matters into her own hands and perform the ritual elsewhere. As Akshara prays, Abhir and Ruhi wake up and show their support by holding her hand, followed by Abhimanyu who stands by her side as well. Everyone stands united with Akshara in this fight for justice.
Suvarna announces that Akshara will open the jhanki. Kairav reprimands the man while Abhimanyu and Aarohi express frustration at having to explain things repeatedly. Ruhi declares that everyone present is bad, prompting Abhir to suggest going back to school and focusing on studies instead. The lady resorts to taunting, which leads Surekha to question if she needs a lesson in proper behavior. Akshara steps in and suggests allowing the puja to proceed while they attend it from a distance, but Abhimanyu proposes going home to celebrate Janmashtami. The man interjects by stating that Akshara can simply stand further away and participate in the puja. Manish argues against this decision, citing a growing distance from God caused by insults towards Akshara. Despite his protests, Akshara implores them to stay, but Manish stands firm and asserts that they cannot remain where she is being disrespected. The lady then struggles with untying the knot holding the curtains closed and impatiently urges them to hurry before the auspicious time for the puja passes. Abhir takes Akshara’s hand and guides her towards the j
Abhir says Kanha does not regard my mother badly, so the knot broke by her hands. Abhimanyu explains them. Akshara says let it be, I will go. The ladies stop Akshara and say sorry, you do the aarti today. Akshara sings the aarti. Manjiri prays for Akshara. Abhir, Manish and Abhimanyu also pray for Akshara. Akshara smiles as she prays for her family.
Precap:
Akshara says we should also break dahi handi, we too want it high. Akshara and Abhimanyu argue and climb to break it.
