Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 6th October 2024 Written Episode Update begins with Abhira and Armaan sadly entering their former room. Both cry as they look around. Abhira asks Armaan to pack his things and tells him they will create new memories elsewhere. Meanwhile, Dadi, recalling Vidya’s defiance, warns herself that if Vidya makes another mistake, she will no longer remain silent.
Abhira and Armaan move into the baby’s room and feel broken. Abhira removes toys and pictures with tears in her eyes. Armaan tries to console her but she locks herself in the washroom. He knocks on the door and apologizes, saying he failed to keep his promise but wants a chance to set things right. He tells her he has realized she is his true love. Abhira listens quietly and says it will take time before she can heal.
Elsewhere, Rohit discusses a case on the phone and insists that the best lawyers should handle it. He names Abhira and Armaan as the firm’s most talented lawyers, which angers Sanjay. Armaan later breaks down seeing a toy tortoise. Ruhi comforts him and reminds him not to take Abhira for granted. She encourages him to fight for their love and not to give in to Vidya’s demands. Armaan promises to take care of Abhira and try to mend things with his mother.
At the dining table, Vidya and Manisha plan Ruhi’s pregnancy diet. Dadi taunts Vidya for overstepping traditions and doing Ruhi’s aarti before her. Meanwhile, Ruhi wakes up from a nightmare about her mother Akshu’s death, blaming her Maasi, Akshara, for the tragedy. Sanjay overhears her saying she hates Akshara and is shocked to realize Akshara could be Abhira’s mother.
The next morning, Armaan urges Abhira to eat breakfast, but she refuses due to a meeting. Dadi insists they both sit down and eat. Ruhi cleverly asks Abhira to drop her at Manish’s house, and Abhira agrees. On the way, Abhira saves Ruhi from hot coffee spilling over her. Sanjay argues but Abhira warns him to be careful since Ruhi is pregnant.
At Manish’s house, he warmly welcomes Ruhi and Abhira. Privately, Manish speaks to his lawyer Mishra, instructing him to manage confidential property documents. Sanjay overhears and grows suspicious. Later, Manish disguises himself as a golgappa seller and delights Ruhi and Abhira with snacks and kulfi, making them laugh heartily. Armaan and Rohit arrive and thank Manish for cheering them up. Manish insists it is Ruhi who brought smiles back to Abhira’s face.
As they leave, Sanjay gets hold of Mishra’s papers and confirms the shocking truth: Manish has given half his property to Abhira. She is Akshara’s daughter, which makes Abhira and Ruhi sisters. He also connects that Akshara was responsible for Ruhi’s mother’s death.
Precap: Sanjay vows to reveal to Ruhi that Abhira is Akshara’s daughter. Manish warns that the Poddar family will burn in hatred if the truth comes out. Sanjay prepares to confront the family.
