She tells her that since she is elder, she should give her blessings. Everyone claps for the moment. Dadi, still curious, asks how Abhira arranged money for the function. Armaan says perhaps she got a loan. Abhira clarifies that her loan was not approved. Dadi asks again how she managed the expenses.

Abhira explains that she used her parents’ savings. She says middle-class parents are strange yet cute—fathers wear old shoes to work, mothers wear old sarees for puja, and they save every rupee for their children’s future. She shares that her mother was also like that, simple and selfless. Kipling uncle had called her and revealed that her mother used to invest money every month for Abhira’s future, and the returns came in just when she needed them most. Abhira gets emotional, saying she was worried but realised she was never alone, as her parents were always with her. She proudly declares that she has kept her parents’ respect and fulfilled her promise. Everyone smiles at her words.

The family begins preparing for the rasam. Abhira compliments everyone’s look, while Vidya praises the decoration. She happily tells Abhira that Manish ji called and said he is on the way. Rohit asks Abhira to begin the ceremony, but she says she will first bring her parents’ photograph. Armaan offers to help, and the cousins tease him. Together, Armaan and Abhira place the photo. Ruhi does not notice it as she is suffering from a headache. When Rohit offers to take her to the doctor, she refuses and decides to rest instead.

Dadi blesses Abhira, saying she will always have her parents’ guidance. Everyone places flowers before the photo. Vidya asks about the Nath rasam, and Abhira guides her through it. Vidya performs the nath puja while Abhira silently remembers her parents, wishing they were with her. Just then, Manish, Suwarna, and Surekha arrive, with the background song “Hamari Banno Pyaari” playing.

A dupatta falls over the photograph, hiding it from Manish. As he sees Abhira, he feels reminded of Akshara. He remarks that he always sees Akshu in Abhira. Suwarna interrupts, saying he should remember Ruhi is his daughter, not Abhira. Manish clarifies that he only expressed a feeling, but Surekha stops them from arguing further.

Abhira runs to welcome Manish warmly, praising his appearance and saying both he and Suwarna look good. Dadi then makes Abhira wear the Nath, and everyone applauds. Abhira happily says she has won and insists the family will never bring up the contract again. Vidya asks her to light eleven shagun diyas. Manish watches and feels a strange sense of old memories returning.
