Yeh Rishta Kya Khelata Hai 20th December 2025 Written Update begins with Mira teaching dance steps to the Poddar family ahead of the wedding celebrations. She scolds Abhira, Armaan and others for not matching the steps properly. After repeated practice, everyone gets tired and requests a short break.
Abhir lovingly takes care of Kiara and reassures her when she shares her worries. Kiara tells him that Manisha took the ring only because of the guests and is still upset. Abhir assures her that Manisha will calm down soon and accept the situation. Kiara remains anxious, saying today is the mehendi and sangeet, the wedding is just two days away, yet nothing feels peaceful.
Sanjay asks Tanya about Krish, and she replies that he is on a call. Mira gathers everyone again and pushes them to resume dance practice. Watching the family together, Manisha tells Kajal that the house finally looks united and hopes this harmony continues. Kajal bluntly reminds Manisha that she herself is holding grudges while advising others to forgive and accept Abhir and Kiara. Her words leave everyone stunned.
Kaveri wonders why there is so much tension in a house preparing for a wedding. Abhira quickly signals everyone to smile and explains they were only practising dance. Mira senses something is wrong and asks Kiara why everyone’s smiles look forced. Abhira quietly observes their conversation from a distance.
Elsewhere, Krish struggles to sell his Jaipur property as no buyers are willing to come forward. Frustrated, he worries about how he will arrange money. Soon, the goons call Krish and demand their payment immediately. Panicked, Krish says he cannot arrange such a large amount right now and instead offers them his property. Initially, they refuse, but after Krish convinces them, they agree to check the papers. Krish finally feels a sense of relief, believing his troubles might end.
Back at the house, Kiara looks lost. Abhira notices and gently reminds her not to misplace the ring due to stress. Kiara emotionally admits that just like the duplicate ring, her wedding also feels fake. She says everyone is pretending to be happy for her sake while hiding their sadness. She breaks down, saying she cannot even delay the wedding now as the entire family is involved. Abhira consoles her, reminding her that stress is harmful for the baby. Kiara adds that Aryan will not attend the wedding and everyone else is caught up in rituals.
Abhira assures Kiara that her wedding functions will go smoothly and asks her to trust her. When Kiara asks what she plans to do, Abhira keeps it a secret, only promising that today’s mehendi and sangeet will be memorable.
Meanwhile, Armaan desperately tries to retrieve the family ring and calls the jeweller. He explains the emotional value of the heirloom and requests him not to auction it. The jeweller refuses, saying nothing can be done now. Armaan realises he may have to buy the ring back at the auction.
Abhir and Abhira arrive at the Poddar house with dhol and mehendi. Abhira performs with Mira and Surekha. During the dance, Abhira almost drops the mehendi bowl, but Armaan catches it in time and tells her that he will never let anything precious fall. He assures her that even if she stumbles in life, he will not let her give up.
Sanjay again asks about Krish, and Tanya replies that he is on his way. At the same time, Krish receives a call informing him that the goons are ready to buy his property and ask him to bring the papers immediately. Krish feels hopeful once again.
Abhira asks Surekha to apply mehendi to Kiara, saying it is her right. Abhir playfully asks Abhira to apply mehendi to him as well, but she refuses, saying it is meant for family members. She hints that she hopes Manisha will come forward. Instead, Kaveri steps ahead, saying she would love to apply mehendi. Abhir happily agrees, and Kiara smiles.
Suddenly, Krish searches for his documents and is shocked to discover that his property papers are missing. He panics, fearing that if he does not hand them over, the goons will kill him. He desperately searches everywhere.
As celebrations continue, Abhira and Armaan perform a beautiful dance that impresses everyone. Manoj praises them. Mira then asks Tanya to bring Krish for his performance, but Tanya requests someone else to perform until she finds him. Manoj, Sanjay and Madhav take the stage next.
Later, Abhira and Armaan share a private romantic moment. Abhira kisses him and thanks him for supporting her and not giving up on hope. Armaan warns her that if any mistake happens now, everything could collapse again and asks her to rethink if she has planned anything risky. Abhira confidently replies that nothing will go wrong today.

Kajal and Vidya perform a dance together. During the performance, Vidya slips and is about to fall, but Kajal saves her. Abhira feels her wish will finally come true. Kajal and Vidya burn some papers, leaving everyone shocked.
