Anupama is distressed thinking about the events of the day – being chosen as Gurumaa’s successor and dealing with Maaya’s dramatic behavior. She recalls Gurumaa’s warning to fulfill her oath, no matter what. Anuj takes Maaya away from the gurukul, and she struggles to leave the car before finally sitting back in frustration. Paakhi apologizes to Samar for missing his wedding, as she feels like a stranger now that she is no longer part of their family. He questions her decision to attend a friend’s wedding instead of her brother’s, but Paakhi continues to apologize. This leads to playful bickering between the siblings, much to the amusement of their family who asks them to stop.
Samar asks her not to go again since he needs her well wishes. Dimpy looks at Paakhi and says he will need that after marriage. Dimpy asks her to speak directly to her instead of taunting indirectly. During the conversation, Paakhi says she’s talking to her brother, Vanraj asks Paakhi how to behave with her new sister-in-law. Dimpy says she won’t tolerate her nonsense.
It’s Anuj’s fault that he keeps returning to Anupama, why won’t he let Anupama go to America, what’s in her that’s not in her, etc., according to Maaya. The argument between Dimpy and Paakhi continues. Anupama recalls Gurumaa’s warning that she has only six days left to move to America and should not back off as gurumaa has invested heavily both financially and emotionally in her.
Dimpy raised her voice at Paakhi, who calmly responded, much to Dimpy’s annoyance. Seeking support, Dimpy turned to Samar. Samar asks them both to take hammer and hit each other However, Paakhi pointed out that even Samar seemed fed up with Dimpy after just one day. Vanraj and Leela then intervened, asking Paakhi to apologize to her daughter-in-law. But Paakhi retorted that even Leela had argued with Dimpy before as a mother-in-law, something she couldn’t do. As the argument escalated, Dimpy demanded that Paakhi leave the room for her and Samar to use, and also move her belongings to her in-laws’ house since this house now belonged to Samar and her. Everyone fell silent, unsure of how to react.
Maaya collapses when Anuj returns home with her. Barkha asks what happened to Maaya, if she was at Anupama’s party. Ankush asks what happened to Maaya. Anuj angrily asks why bothers. As Barkha believes Anuj was never so angry at Maaya before, she fears he might stay back at Kapadia House. Maaya is injected by Anuj after she asks Adhik to bring her injection. Adhik informs Barkha that they thought she was acting, but she is really mentally ill.
Barkha suggests provoking her more so that Anuj will return with her to Mumbai. Adhik inquires about the possibility of changing Maaya’s medication, comparing it to a manipulative tactic used by a villain on a TV show. At the Shah household, Dimpy insists that Paakhi should completely sever ties with her parents’ home, just as she left the Kapadia residence. Paakhi reminds Dimpy that she is not a Kapadia daughter and was only a guest there, whereas she is a Shah daughter and no one can prevent her from visiting her family home. Dimpy becomes insistent on using Paakhi’s room for herself and Samar. Samar reflects on how he now understands the feeling of being stuck between family and wife after marriage.
When Kinjal asks Paakhi and Dimpy to stop their argument, she admits Paakhi is correct that a daughter is always a daughter and deserves a room in her parents’ house. When Dimpy has a problem, she and Toshu will give their room to him. Dimpy feels happy. Toshu refuses to give up his room. Paakhi says Toshu is right. Dimpy comments that the people in this house are selfish, resulting in their marriages falling apart.
Toshu refuses to give up his room again and asks Kinjal if she has taken his permission in advance. Vanraj warns her to mind her tongue. Leela says Dimpy is a brakeless mouthpiece who doesn’t behave well. Kinjal says he has done it many times without telling him. Dimpy taunts Toshu that Kinjal did not cheat on him like he did on her. Everyone is shocked. Anupama walks down the street murmuring that she shouldn’t stop.
