Anuj stores their belongings in the car before realizing that he had forgotten to bring his card for payment. He quickly heads back to retrieve it, while Anupama expresses her concern to Babu ji over the phone. He reassures her by saying that he too is worried about their daughter’s well-being. Anupama feels guilty for putting a burden on him and apologizes. Babu ji reminds her of Baa’s strength and asks about Anuj. She reveals that he has built a wall around his heart and she doesn’t know how to break through to him. She fears that trying too hard might increase his pain, but not trying at all will only add to it. Babu ji shares that tomorrow is Ganesh Chaturthi and they had recently visited Anuj’s house for the first time. He advises her not to worry and she ends the call, seeking comfort in an embrace with Anuj. Barkha chimes in, mentioning how she had warned Ankush against attending an important meeting, but he went anyway.
Anupama reassures everyone that work is important, even though she understands there may be other matters on their minds. She notices Paakhi conversing with Adhik and Romil about the decoration and recalls a tradition from her orphanage where it was believed that Ganapati holds a special place in his heart for children. Anuj also shares a similar experience from his own orphanage. Anupama believes that those who have young children in their homes are lucky to have the blessings of God. Paakhi excitedly mentions her plans to have a baby by next year, prompting Barkha to ask if they are planning for one already. Paakhi candidly admits that they are considering it, but Barkha advises them to focus on building their relationship first before taking such a big step. However, Paakhi argues that this is the right time for them as she is physically fit and capable of handling a child, just like how Anupama was able to give birth at an older age. Anupama points out that their situations were different and reminds them of the struggle they faced in trying to conceive. Malti Devi humbly expresses her remorse to God, acknowledging that she made a grave mistake in abandoning her son, Anuj. Despite feeling undeserving of forgiveness, she prays for it and reflects on how she had seen her son as a burden. She asks for the opportunity to reunite with him and promises not to ask for anything else. Baa overhears her and remarks that Anuj must have prayed for his mother’s return in the same way. She scolds Malti Devi for only wanting to become a mother for personal gain, sharing that even strangers on buses and trains receive love from others. Baa then prays for both Malti Devi and Anuj to be reunited, wishing for his emotional wounds to heal. She condemns Malti Devi’s decision to leave Anuj at an orphanage while also applauding Anupama’s choice to adopt a girl from there instead. Baa emphasizes the importance of a mother’s unconditional love and encourages Malti Devi to learn from her example before leaving. Overwhelmed with emotion, Malti Devi breaks down in tears.
Anuj approaches Anupama and shares that he woke up and decided to come find her. Anupama responds by mentioning that she was free at the moment and had been considering making something. She recalls their past, when they had very limited funds and she used to sew clothes for their children. However, as they gained more financial stability, they were able to purchase readymade garments instead. Anuj admires her maternal instincts and comments on the strong bond between a mother and her child. He asks about the origin of the garment, to which Anupama reveals that it belongs to Samar – her dear son who has always been obedient towards her. She fondly remembers how Toshu and Paakhi used to play around their father while Samar assisted her with various tasks. She proudly states that Samar has been her teacher in many ways, helping her set up a successful dance academy and even opening her first bank account. Although others may jokingly refer to him as “Mummy Ka Chamcha,” she explains that Samar is truly like a soldier to her. Despite loving all of her children equally, there is a unique connection between Anupama and Samar that cannot be compared. Moved by this conversation, Anuj reveals his own
Anuj and Anupama carefully place Bappa and adorn him with a garland. Anupama expresses her wish for Guru Maa’s presence at the puja, to which Anuj curiously asks what happened. She shakes her head, indicating that nothing is wrong. After completing the puja and aarti, she ties message cloth on the girls and puts chunari with a message on the guys. As they dance to the song Deva Shri Ganesha, Samar almost slips and falls on a pointed lamp stand. However, Anupama quickly catches him and embraces him. She scolds him for being careless. Samar reassures her by saying that he is safe as long as his loving mother is with him. Baa praises their good luck that nothing serious happened. They resume dancing and having fun. Amidst all of this, Anupama sincerely prays to God to bless her family, especially her husband Anuj and children. She also asks for their safety and well-being. As Samar’s message cloth falls off, she removes an evil eye from him with a smile on her face.
