Kavya preparing for the event
Mohit tells his team to prepare because they are about to launch a huge project and the organizer will arrive soon. Kavya says he has created a lot of hype around the organizer. Mohit says she will find out on her own. He notices a lady coming and says there she is. The lady approaches them and congratulates Kavya. She thanks her and addresses her as Maaya, saying whatever she has heard about her is less.
After signaling Kavya that she looks beautiful, Anupama leaves, saying she will meet her later. As she searches for water, she thinks both families came across each other in the big mela and hopes there will be no problem again. Maaya thinks she will clear her doubts when she meets her. She takes water for Little Anu. When Maaya looks at her, she thinks she will become more nervous after meeting her the more eager she will be to meet her.
Barkha and Ankush argue
After poisoning her family, Leela frowns at Anupama enjoying herself and says they are laughing. Toshu is busy campaigning for his business. Hasmukh breaks the tea cup angrily and walks away. Vanraj says it wasn’t necessary to say that. Barkha and Ankush interact with friends smilingly, and after they leave, Ankush frees his hand. Barkha asks if he can’t continue acting. She prohibited her son from coming here for a year while he was acting, but just as Adhik is important to Barkha, his son is important to him as well. He shouldn’t compare his illegitimate son with his brother. Ankush says legitimate and illegitimate are relationships and not children, his son is his blood and responsibility.
Hasmukh is upset
Anuj informs Anupama that Little Anu is desiring to fly the kite that only Maaya brings for her; he is eager for their reunion. As they chat, Maaya smiles knowingly. Noticing Hasmukh sitting on his own, Anupama inquires what he is doing off by himself. He explains that his family gets cross if he meets her folks, leaving him alone even when in their presence. She feels sorrowful but he requests her not to worry as everything will be fine and he will rejoin them when the kite-flying and dancing commences.
Toshu is campaining for his business
A business card from Toshu is given to Anuj and Vanraj. Toshu’s assistants tell them Toshu is capable of cracking any property deal, and he recently cracked one for Anuj Kapadia. Anuj says that’s interesting. Vanraj says they’re talking to the stupid boss’ stupid assistants who are right there in front of them. Anuj apologizes on Toshu’s behalf to Anuj and assures him he will not let Toshu misuse Anuj’s name.
Samar proposes
Samar gifts a kite to Dimpy and attempts to propose to her, but is thwarted by Leela who tears the kite and reprimands him. He implores her not to ruin their intimate moment, before asking Dimpy if she’s scared of taking the next step. She confesses she has been through enough that she doesn’t have that bravery anymore. Samar asserts that she understands what is in his heart and in order to express it, he will be dancing and requests her to join him if she is willing to accept his proposal. He remarks it’s not America, it’s Ahmedabad – anything done discreetly can be accomplished here. Having let Dimpy stay in her house, Anupama is now trying to get her into Shah’s house permanently, but she won’t allow it. Leela yells that she won’t let Dimple enter her house. Samar says he likes Dimple. Anupama intervenes and warns her to stop using such demeaning words for Dimple.
Anupama yells at Leela not to interfere with her and her grandson. Anupama responds by saying even god cannot interfere between her and her son. Leela continues her unbearable accusations and curses. Anupama tries to give her a befitting reply. Vanraj tells Leela it’s not the right place to talk about all this. Anuj agrees. Leela carries on berating Dimple, who points out that nobody would want to live in the house where Leela resides, and advises her not to exploit her age as a tool to humiliate others, regardless of any history or relationship she and Samar may have. Vanraj tries to placate Leela but she insists that Anupama should concentrate on looking after her husband, daughter and home since anything could occur. Maaya records their confrontation while silently acknowledging that Leela is correct; things can take unexpected turns. Vanraj eventually steers her away from the situation.
Anupama is upset
Anuj notices Anupama is upset and asks Anupama if she is alright. Anupama replies, “I’m fine, they’re here for Little Anu, so let’s focus on her.” The performances start. Everyone claps for Little Anu and her parents’ performance when the host welcomes everyone and asks if anyone wants to perform. As the host calls Anuj and Anupama on stage, they become nervous. Maaya watches them from a corner.
Precap:
MaaYa arrives with gifts for Little Anu – a purple scarf and pearl earrings – and informs Anupama and Anuj that she is Little Anu’s real mother.
